Rick's Reef is a local favorite, praised for its wonderful atmosphere and great food. The restaurant is accommodating, able to seat large groups, and provides excellent service. The menu offers a range of options, including phenomenal seafood dishes such as Mahi Mahi dinner with side Caesar salad, lobster fries, and Mac & Cheese. The fish and chips are a standout, with a light and crispy batter. The blacked fish tacos and peel and eat shrimp were delicious. The atmosphere was casual and you could eat inside or outside. This seafood restaurant is the real deal — ocean-fresh ingredients, expert preparation, and a vibe that perfectly blends coastal charm with upscale comfort. The oysters on the half shell were ice-cold, briny, and served with classic mignonette and cocktail sauce. The crab cakes were all meat, no filler, seared golden and served with a spicy remoulade. The pan-seared scallops over a creamy risotto with lemon zest and asparagus were rich, delicate, and perfectly balanced. The grilled Chilean sea bass was flaky, tender, and glazed with a miso-honey sauce. Sides of lobster mac & cheese and charred broccolini were decadent and delicious. The key lime pie was a perfect finale — tangy, creamy, and topped with a cloud of whipped cream. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. Rick's Reef is a great spot to dine.
