I was excited for Society table to reopen. We reserved a table for Sunday thought that it could be packed. But we were so disappointed with all dishes we ordered. The menu is limited, which is ok because they could do well with what they have. Food was way below expectation for the hotel; Burger was so dry and too well done (the waitress didn’t ask how I wanted the meat to be cooked), Cuban was so mushy and too salty too eat and needed to be returned, fish taco was just ok nothing special. I didn’t bother to take any pictures as the presentations were so plain looking, not appetizingly presented.

The restaurant might look nicer at night but for lunch the ambient is plain, simple, lean to the boring side. The restaurant was so empty on Sunday brunch/lunch; only 4 tables with customers. The service was very slow; so many waitress walking around doing different roles but not there when we needed. This might explain why there were not many customers. The restaurant lives off its old reputation.

I really hope the restaurant improves and do better 🙏

There is a gentleman named Scott working the host stand that has the worst communication skills on the planet. Does not look you in the eye when speaking to you and seems to think this 3.6 star review restaurant is something it’s not. Paid thousands of dollars to stay in the resort that has one restaurant but cant seem to accommodate their own guests when showing up for a table of four at 5:30 pm (early bird)! The restaurant was empty but SCOTT could not seem to find a seat for us. Never coming back!

Exceeded our expectations, Had great service from don, very attentive, friendly, has great attention for details and prompt. Was very nice with the kids and we liked his recommendations. We had the mussles and it was very delecious, beef tartar was flavorful and fresh, oysters were good, was our first time here and we are deffnitely coming back again.

Excellent service. Very friendly and knowledgeable servers. Ate breakfast here every day during our stay at the Don Cesar. Highly recommend!

We went on their second night open since the hurricanes and set our expectations low. Turns out this wasn't necessary. The room, service and food were all excellent. We had the tuna for an appetizer, and the grouper and the oricchiette for entrees. All very good.

Disappointing experience here. I took my wife here for her birthday and it was a big letdown for us. I ordered something simple a Smashburger with fries. The burger was OK, but the fries were awful and tasted like they had been sitting out for three days so I kindly asked the server to exchange the fries for something else His response was” Oh yeah, the fries aren’t fresh because we aren’t busy”. my wife had the grouper with okra and when the dish came out, there was no okra on it so my wife kindly asked the server about the the okra and he responded ” it’s just a garnish” and proceeded to bring us out a small piece of okra. If something is advertised on a dish we shouldn’t have to ask for it . The server was friendly, and most of this falls on the chef, we will not be returning here. Sad to see this type of quality food being served at such a prestige and well known establishment.

Food improved since last time, but service was SLOW. The bar & restaurant was not busy at all, yet all the customers there were waiting & annoyed. No excuse for a resort of this level & price. None. To top it all off, they wouldn’t fully validate parking. $18 to park after a $200 + bill. Never again. Will not be back.

Save your money. Over priced and not worth it . We are locals and there are many other places where you can get great food options.

I was a smidge worried when my husband made reservations here for our anniversary, but I had no complaints overall. Service was fantastic, drinks were delicious, food was fresh. I knew there was something I wouldn’t like in a dish, and they were able to remove it without issue. We didn’t have issues with parking, because we walked there, and lifted back. We’ll def be back in the future!

I love this place!! We went around 5pm, right before they switched the dinner and ended up having the lunch menu, which was delicious. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was cool. Parking is 18 bucks for 2 hours - be sure to ask your server for a special ticket. Nikki was the best server! Be sure to check this place out!

Be warned that parking here will cost you $37.50 for parking. Ok you get 50% off if you stay less than 2 hours! So enjoy a longer meal and you pay more. How can this be justified?

Ice above us was dripping water on our table. I took flat bread with prosciutto and got pita bread with tones of arugula and tine peace of prosciutto. It was dry and tasteless. The server constantly was forgetting about taking an order. I really had high hopes about that place but got really disappointed.
