This place really surprised us. We saw people in and out constantly. Great prices. Food is sooo delicious ? the French toast is a must to try. Made to perfection. The breakfast potatoes with onions are crazy good.Could be a bit cleaner and a bit friendlier. The food is sooo worth the stop.
Greeted quickly at the restaurant and were given a choice as to where to sit.. But the food, I give it one (1) star...close to two stars because of the breakfast potatoes. The restaurant was out of the prime rib and and other items. Great tasting potatoes!!! The eggs were overcooked, bacon was cold, biscuit & gravy mix was not hot (biscuit was also small not freshly baked) and the French toast.......had no idea what it was when I saw it. Customer service followup was good, restaurant was not busy.
We have been to the cafe quite a few times for the English Breakfast. Absolutely fantastic, they do put a salty seasoning on the mushrooms and fries which you could do without. Reason for the lack of stars is the service. The owner obviously hates her life and her job and is fed up with customers and people in general. Gets a bit awkward when she’s in a bad mood and rude in front of everyone. Won’t be going back for this reason, I don’t want to be on edge in the middle of a family argument when I go out to eat.
My daughter and I visited for brunch and it was ridiculously good. We both had the French toast and it was, without question, the best either of us have ever had. The service was awesome, friendly and fast and they have unbeatable prices. We won’t be eating breakfast/brunch anywhere else during our St. Pete Beach vacation! Can’t wait to work my way through the menu!
Update: After reading the other reviews… my experience is not alone!! The owner or waitress is a witch and has a terrible attitude, apparent to many. *** Not sure how this place is rated so highly. If you have any pigment or melanin in your skin tone, don’t even bother coming here. They won’t serve you. Walked in at 10:30am on a WEDNESDAY and saw at least 7 open tables (out of maybe 10-11 tables total). The rude, grey haired woman with an accent looked down at my biracial 7 year old, scoffed, and said “30 minute to an hour wait”, rolled her eyes and walked off. Didn’t take names or ask if we wanted to stay and wait. No “good morning” no “welcome”… Absolutely terrible and miserable staff. Go elsewhere, they don’t deserve your business.
OMG! TINY TINY TINY- - And PACKED. My wife and I were told there was live music at this place, so we decided to check it out. When we entered the place we immediately were taken aback at how super small it was and how HOT it was. No A/C except for the open door. People were crammed in it like soggy sardines. Meanwhile we're wondering, "how can there be any kind of music in this place?" We couldn't even hear music. And then I noticed a guy literally crammed in to a corner, holding a guitar. Patrons were (seriously) almost sitting in his lap. We made a bee-line to the exit, which wasn't hard, because it was only a few feet away. The hardest part was squeezing through the bodies to get out lol,
Good, friendly service. Decent coffee. First time trying British food. Was yummy. I ordered the half order of the British breakfast and definitely needed a Togo box.
Fantastic breakfast and REAL corned beef hash ! Great food and service and will be back
My eggs Benedict with bacon was delicious. The waitress was friendly. A nice clean small diner.
It's been almost thirty years since I had a full English breakfast! And I almost didn't have one this time, since they also serve ten different versions of eggs Benedict. Highly recommended!

We are so sad to lose our favorite breakfast spot in Saint Pete Beach we've been coming for the last 7 years to the Sea Turtle restaurant and I know it's a family-owned buy a British family however we always had a great experience until today in which the owner the lady treated us very rude as we were waiting for a table or Booth since we had a child she even told us that we needed to wait outside in the cold if you wanted to wait for it booth very rude very sad to lose our favorite breakfast spot. As we tried to approach her to let her know that she was not too kind she replied with an "I don't care, you can do what you want and leave because I'm very busy right now!" Very sad to experience this with our two-year-old son in which we were trying to make memories with him and have him make this his favorite breakfast spot for years to come. I understand you could be overwhelmed, I get it, I work with customer service everyday, but only with customers I work with British in Davenport which seems to be very kind people I've also my bosses are British lovely people who I work for, however, you should not treat your customers unkindly no matter what's going on in your personal life. Very very very sad that we lost our favorite breakfast spot due to an unkind treatment from the owner itself.
Wonderful friendly UK couple. Great food and great service!!
No frills bar serving british grub as well as American standards. Quick service, proper bacon n sausage Great little pit stop if you are in the beach area
Friends of ours found this place. And told us that they had the traditional English breakfast. I was excited to go. And was not disappointed. This was one of the best places to eat while here in Saint Petersburg that we can pass. You must go!
