This is a really special place. The food, desserts, cocktails, and service are spectacular. My wife and I have cherished this restaurant and visited many times. We recently visited after the hurricane renovations and the experience has not changed; it was even better. If you are a foodie and you love top notch cocktails and mocktails with impeccable service, you must put this on your list. Jacob was our server, and his warm, friendly service along with his impeccable knowledge about the foods and history truly make the experience positively memorable.

Excellent service and atmosphere to start. Very welcoming and dog friendly. The food was divine and everything is homemade; you can tell they put effort into making elevated food.

I had the blackened fish sandwich which was fantastic, with the parmasean fries. Food was well portioned and price, absolutely perfect establishment.

The service was outstanding.I had the shrimp and grits. I'm from new orleans, and these grits were hands down the best.I've ever had in my entire life! I'm 61. The shrimp were nice and spicy, and the chimichurri sauce was perfection.

Incredible food amazing staff beautiful atmosphere the Owners Heidi and Michael are just the nicest people very entertaining our bartender Angie is the master of her domain brilliant with her cocktails and great with her customers our waitress Ginny fantastic always smiling always on top of her game Patrick also a great waiter and everything else that he there is always funny and entertaining the whole staff amazing our favorite and best restaurant on the beach

A lovely restaurant quietly tucked away in saint Pete's. The freshest oysters in town! Staff are lovely, especially Angie! Panzanilla salad was the most delicious I've ever had.

My family absolutely loved this place! Very elevated experience from the service, flavor of food, and overall atmosphere. Starting off strong with Chap being our server and crushing it at his job. Not a single thing was asked for, when he notices something was off or needed adjustments it was already taken care of before anyone at our table realized.
The food was actually so good it made us all sit back and just sat “wow!”. The cinnamon roll had the perfect amount of sweetness. My entrée was the special for this season and it was incredible. I will 100% be back for next season’s menu whenever that comes out!

Can't believe it took us so long to try this place. First off the service is wonderful! The food is great! Our server was wonderful, she had so many great recommendations! We started with the oysters and they were so delicious with spinach and cheese, they were HUGE so flavorful! Then my husband had the salmon salad the piece of fish was huge! He really enjoyed it and said it was delicious. I had the lobster grilled cheese, it was packed with lobster and had a great crispy bread! We will definitely be returning to try other recommendations. Love the decor as well!!!

The Helm delivered one of the best father–daughter brunches we’ve had. We came for brunch and considered staying for dinner because everything... the food, the vibe, the service... was just that good. 😅

Great hidden gem for seafood! She-crab soup was absolutely delicious and tasted like crabby butter. The grouper cheeks were great and the best entree we had at the table was the burger with lobster.

We had a brunch reservation this morning and our server was awesome. Oysters were delish. Seafood quiche was great with extra hollandaise sauce. The hashbrown casserole was dry and had too much sage. I wanted something creamy, cheesy and crisp on the top. If you want my mom's recipe, please let me know. We would prefer a homemade cinnamon roll to the biscuit version we ordered. The frosting was good. The eggs and bacon were served with a huge piece of cheap French bread and that was weird. Kids meal is not printed but they have fish sticks and grilled cheese. We did really enjoy this special place and will be back.
