What an incredible experience! The food, atmosphere, and service were truly unmatched—nothing else on the beach compares. As locals, we’re already looking forward to coming back!

first time at this restaurant! Calm and comfortable, does not boast a giant venue at all. the art work and decor were gorgeous! the service was stellar, even when I expressed my concern for the taste of the uni served, the staff and cooks were very accommodating and understanding to the concern. All the sushi and rolls made were so delicious and fresh. I ordered the rainbow roll, which was incredibly delicious with the kani crab adding a perfect sweetness to the fresh tuna, salmon and escola. Also had their spicy tuna which had a unique blend of the Chile and sesame oil, very tasty! even the tempura fried rolls were incredible, the batter was light and crispy and savory all at once. I cannot recommend a better restaurant for the area!

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Very fresh sushi, great rice and appetizers. Not to mention excellent service and beach style atmosphere that fits the market.

Way overpriced.
Hibachi was sad.
$25 for poke, silly.

After two weeks of eating burgers, steaks and pastas (which are also good don’t get me wrong!), I was really craving some good, healthy Asian food. Came here right after opening on a Thursday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by the food and ambiance! I ordered the pho and my boyfriend ordered the spicy Hawaiian poke bowl. Both were excellent! Truly a gem of a place in a bit of an Asian cuisine food desert.

Randomly stopped in after passing by and seeing positive reviews online. Ate at the sushi bar, quick service , fresh sushi. Would definitely go back !

The pho is really good as well as the nigiri/sushi, the tuna tartar is a little bit boring and the staff is really kind

We used to eat at Blue Fugu, and we are so happy we found Yaki Mono! The ramen is fantastic, and our baby loooved everything. She ate more than she has ever eaten. We are so happy. The sushi was excellent as well! And the servers are always personable.

Excellent food and service!

Ramen is out of a packet and so is the broth. Fish is not fresh.

12 hours later update- I have food poisoning.

This is a local restaurant owned by people with more than 25 years experience in St Pete Beach, consistently providing quality food and friendly service in a comfortable atmosphere, with spectacular sushi at reasonable prices. I ordered a yummy sushi box for $25. It included salad and more freshly prepared sushi than I could eat! I took half of it home! My grandson, who is a sushi fiend, ordered Taro Boba to drink and was thrilled. He ordered two different types of sushi, and even this growing 11-year old only managed to eat about half, despite his best efforts! They also offer cooked dishes. We highly recommend.

The exterior of this restaurant is so cute, it invited us in to try it. The service is kind and simple. We started with soup, miso and a chicken broth, then had gyoza and a sushi roll then shared a hibachi style teriyaki chicken. The hibachi was just ok, kind of reminded me of mall food. The sushi was great. I thought the prices were reasonable for the portions.

Sushi was good and fresh. It's a little pricy, but sushi usually is.
