The wife and I stopped in for breakfast yesterday morning. The food was ok nothing amazing. I ordered the triple special and the wife ordered chipped beef special with a tea and sprite. The came to 41.00 for our breakfast, I was in a sticker shock. Sorry at that price I'll stick to the Foxhead breakfast in Osteen..

We were seated quickly and our server showed up almost immediately. Very polite and tolerant of our indecisive party. Great coffee and they cook breakfast like 80 year old southern ladies. All of it was great! One word of warning though. They have a potato chip rack that likes to occasionally attack people for some reason.

If you wake up hungry in Sanford and don’t go to The Colonial Room, that’s on you. This place serves homestyle breakfast the way your grandma wishes she could. I’m telling you — the portions are so big I had to mentally prepare myself like I was entering a competitive eating event.
The pancakes? Massive. The biscuits? Fluffy enough to qualify as emotional support animals. The bacon? Cooked like they actually care about you. Even the grits slap, and we all know grits are usually 50/50.
But let me tell you what truly made my morning: Connie — the sweetest woman I’ve ever met in my life. I don’t know what’s in her coffee, but this woman radiates pure sunshine. She took care of me like I was her long-lost nephew who finally came home. She’s the type of server who makes you want to tip extra, behave better, and maybe go to church more.
If you want a breakfast that fills your belly, warms your soul, and comes with the nicest waitress on planet Earth, get yourself to The Colonial Room.
First time visiting, great food, friendly service & adorable atmosphere, even a little gift shop! Will definitely return!

Sat outside, downtown area nice. Server was sweet lady. Food was average. Omelet served with sliced cheese on top. Pancakes served with no butter and server never returned so I could ask her for some. Pancakes were dense with no flavor other than flour.

We had a pleasant experience today at the Colonial Room. We had a desire for eating out and we were quickly seated. The staff were pleasant and attentive to make sure we had what we needed.
