We’re local and we have eaten here five or six times in the past year. The food is ok and it’s nearby to our house. Today we got a server who wore his tips on his shirt which is cringe and unprofessional, I’ve never seen this before and we eat out almost every night. Despite the low ratings we saw, my family and I wanted to check the restaurant out. The staff that we interacted with were very nice. They greeted us with smiles. It didn't take long for us to be seated. They accommodated our two small children wirh clean high chairs.
My wife loves Mexican food. So we ordered the Molcajete Mixo and the Guacamole. The food came fast, however, the Guacamole portion was very small and needed salt. After searching for salt and not finding...

El Sol is our favorite Mexican eatery in the area! The food always is good and served quickly, and the servers are outstanding! They're always decorated for the holidays just right and everyone is friendly.
