Food was delicious. Prime rib was delicious but room temperature. Beautiful place. New owners. The woman spoke in French with my mom which was super duper fun.

Notified waiter of dairy allergy but was served green beans cooked in butter. Wow were they delicious. But I got sick. The chef talked to me at 10:30p at night and is committed to doing better in the future. I will eat there again but will be very clear about the allergy. Delicious food and really nice people!

Dietary restrictions: Failed to accommodate stated dairy allergy of butter on the beans. Received conflicting information as to butter on the prime rib.

My wife and I had a delicious meal last evening in this cozy romantic restaurant on Sanibel with attentive service and a friendly atmosphere. The fois gras was perfectly prepared. I had duck a l’orange and my wife had the Dover Sole. Both dishes were perfectly prepared. We added French silk pie for dessert. The experience was excellent from top to bottom and I can’t wait to go back. Best food on Sanibel and worth the drive to the Island to experience.

From the atmosphere to the hostess and services to the food this was one of our best overall dining experiences we had all month on island. Prime rib and seafood vol au vent was amazing. Delightfully romantic!

Love thIs cozy restaurant with great hospitality and fine French cuisine..good value wine list and interesting menu...call ahead for reservations during season..you will need a bit of bread or spoon to finish the sauces from your plate..

It was our first time going there on a referral from one of my clients on the island- we enjoyed a fabulous dinner ? & loved the great service, along with the owner who greeted us & made sure we were well taken care of - we both had the ( Dover Sole ) & it was exceptionally delicious.
We will be back many more times ahead

Holly took me out for my birthday tonight and it was amazing. Best meal I have had in years. Absolutely superb, both owners simply delightful and very friendly. I will definitely go back again very soon.

Charming little bistro. Exquisite food, well plated and served. Chef/owners and staff are collegial yet professional. We do not drink alcohol so cannot judge wine menu, but otherwise simply delightful on every level. Prix fixe menu was ample, and entire menu was appealing. Not sure about vegetarian or vegan options. We had trout almandine and steak frites preceded by house rolls, pate, and light green salad with fresh mustard vinaigrette. Best meal I've had on the island. Actually took home dessert because we were full. Gluten-free friendly. Highly recommend.

We visited the new location recently and very much enjoyed our meal. The restaurant makes delicious food and has some of the kindest people on staff who will go above and beyond for you. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Spectacular dinner! We had a lovely evening at Blue Rendezvous! The food was prepared with perfection.They had wonderful French wines by the glass. I was treated to a gluten free meal that was on par with any French cuisine prepared elsewhere! This is our new favorite spot on Sanibel. Thankyou♥️

Great food and service. Good menu and wine list. Reservations are recommended. We had halibut and dover sole. Both were outstanding.

My husband and I both dined at the Bleu Rendezvous on our anniversary, which happened to be the restaurant's re-opening in their new location by the art studio. We were visiting from Ohio but had dined at Bleu Rendezvous a few years earlier and loved it. Mari took my reservation over the phone and was so kind and friendly. Our server was Christine, and she was wonderful. She was so doting, she made us feel like royalty, and she was very kind and thoughtful. The food and drinks were incredible. We ordered the frog legs for our appetizer, and they were delicious and tender. I had the Seafood Vol-au-Vent, which was rich and so delicious. My husband ordered the Filet-Frittes and loved it. Mari stopped by and made sure we were enjoying everything. Their new space is cozy and quaint. We felt we had chosen the perfect place for our special romantic dinner.

We were so excited that Blue Rendezvous is back, especially after Ian. When in Sanibel we always come here at least once if not twice during our stay. They have really decorated their new restaurant to feel quaint & cozy with a spray of fresh flowers at each table. When you enter you feel like family, such a warm welcome. We had a superb waitress, very attentive but not over bearing. My husband had surf & turf, I had filet steak frites. Both were cooked to perfection & melted in our mouths bursting with flavor. The tuffle fries were delicious as well very addicting. For dessert we shared the apple crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We will definitely be back !!!
