Spent 20 or 30 minutes on their website reviewing the menu and picking out a few things we might like to eat. When we got there, we were informed that the regular menu was not available, but rather they had a limited menu. As it turns out, VERY limited. We didn't stay. Only bright spot was that the Ass't Manager informed us and let us look at the menu before we were seated. Why not KEEP YOUR WEBSITE UP-TO-DATE and save your customers some trouble?

We made a reservation on Open Table, which was accepted. We traveled 40 minutes (one way) from our hotel to the restaurant. Upon arrival, we were told that the restaurant had been closed about 1 week before because of a fire!! This was not reflected anywhere, and certainly NOT on Open Table. What kind of organization is that?? FINALLY, I saw the restaurant web site had been updated one day after we went - that is 9 days after they closed. A big waste of our time and fuel money.

Made reservation on open table for Father's day for me and my 86 year old father. Got an email day before for me to confirm which I did. Got to the restaurant and sign door says closed Sunday and Monday. At another restaurant and the wait is over an hour and a half. Just look Normandy up on line and it says they are currently open. Thanks for making my Father's Father's day do difficult!!

We went for dinner and given a lunch menu. Ask for mix drink and only had beer and wine . So we excused ourselves and went to another restaurant. Last time we were here in 2021 it was excellent.

Cafe Normandie doesn't advertise much, but it's a great little spot to grab a bite to eat. Good salads, good sandwiches, and surprisingly good breakfasts. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed several meals at Normandie during our visit to Sanibel. My husband said they had the best fish sandwich and key lime pie he's ever had. Portions are large, service was friendly and fast- highly recommend!

We enjoyed a great lunch while the cafe was not very busy. We received good service and although the menu is kind of small, there is something for everyone. While we did not eat breakfast here, we heard others rave about what they had.

We had never been here. But they were on Open Table to reserve a table for 5 of us. Reservation was probably not necessary since restaurant was almost empty. Tom our waiter was very nice and service was great. Three of us got grilled grouper. It was delicious. I liked the vegetables medley that came with it but wild rice was just okay. My husband got salmon on penne pasta that he loved. I would go back. I loved that it wasn't that busy and we could have a conversation without having to scream at each other.

Had dinner, was very quite and lighty attended which I don't understand. The grouper special was the best I've had and paired well with sides. Line should have been going out the door for this dish. Waiter was very professional didn't get his name but very good at what he does.We will be back!
We were really disappointed with the food and service here. The salmon salad didn't taste right. The salmon had a strong fishy smell, which leads me to believe it was not fresh. Unfortunately, I couldn't even eat my meal. The waitress took my plate, still almost full and didn't even ask if everything was okay or offer me a to go box. We let it be, but won't be back. In addition, this is not waterfront.

The service there has always been good, however, the are currently trying to hire an executive chef so their current menu is very limited. The had apps, sandwiches, salads etc. but just 2 entrees pasta, and steak. I am sure they will get back to normal once they get a head chef.
Great family meal! Staff was very friendly. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Onion rings extremely tasty (lots of people were ordering them). Meal came out in an appropriate amount of time and was delicious. 5 stars :)
