This place is extremely racist. My family and I who are Hispanic (party of 5) arrived and waited to be seated and were told 10-15 minutes. Two other families that arrived after us (party of 6 and party of 4) who were told 20-30 minutes were seated before us. My dad asked the host why they were seated before us and the man lied saying they had called ahead. Even the family that was called was extremely surprised that they were seated before us. Well for starters the escargot, raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller were out of this world. Both the red and white clam chowder were like perfection in a bowl. My entrée was the baked stuffed shrimp and hands down AMAZING.
Our waitress was YO and she knew everything about the history of the restaurant to the menu. I was very interested in the collection of oyster shells on the walls and she explained that as well. TEN STARS !!! I recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood...read full review
We had Thanksgiving dinner last night at the Timbers. The meal and most of the staff were great. However, there was a mix-up as we were being seated. One of the hosts directed us to a table and left. Just as we were sitting, another host came and yelled at us to get up - “…he wasn’t going to sit 3 tables for 1 server!”.
I guess there was a misunderstanding between the hosts, but this guy was way out of line.
