I was here years ago, but reviewing now because I still dream about this place. Since the hurricane damage I have resorted to making my own goat cheese pillows and ordering the desert wine online to have at home. I have wanted to return to Sanibel so many times in the last few years but my trip would almost be a disappointment without the Mad Hatter. I swear if they ever come back I will immediately be booking reservations and a vacation. Damn we miss you.
We went there for our engagement dinner just the two of us in 2015. It was perfect- the food, ambiance, and service. Thank you for making it so memorable for us. Looking forward to coming back when you open again.
Best ever and I don’t say this often. We celebrated my husband’s birthday with his 90 yr old parents and vegan sister. From our first steps in the door, the staff was warm and friendly and very accommodating to my lovely in-laws and dietary requests. Every appetizer, entree, and dessert was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious!! All 5 entrees were piping hot and arrived at the table at the same time by 3 team members. My father-in-law especially enjoyed his own French...
