Tried the re-opened T2 Saturday night…original T2 was SO much better for us. Original Margarita flatbread was one of the best along with their others…now the flatbreads are not so flat, half the size & more expensive, plus they don’t offer a Margarita anymore. I ordered the olive & onion and asked if they could put Brie or Gruyère cheese on it instead of goat cheese & was told NO because Gruyère doesn’t melt very well (even though it was on another flatbread) & then was told there are absolutely No substitutions made so NO to the Brie cheese too (this cheese was also on another flat bread.) This makes me think they are pre made & frozen & in the end it wasn’t very good anyway. My husband ordered the lamb burger medium rare & it was delivered well done…when he brought it to the waiter’s attention he was told that is the color of the meat…grey! French fries were not available that night so they were substituting (although customers can’t substitute) tri colored potatoes. My husband asked them to leave out the sweet potatoes & they said no problem…his dish was delivered WITH the sweet potatoes & the waiter said they were pre made that way so my husband would just have to pick them out. I could go on, but you get the idea…one of our favorite restaurants turned into a restaurant we’ll never go to again.

My husband and I just moved to the area and we came to the island for our anniversary. We saw T2 from the road and it did not disappoint! The restaurant just reopened after being closed for a few months. We are so happy to have found our new date spot! Great selection of wine! We had mussels for an appetizer, then the filet mignon and seafood stew for entrees (both absolutely incredible ) we finished off the night with key lime brûlée, again it was amazing! Service, food and staff were all 5 stars! We will definitely be coming back!

Hidden gem with delicious bistro fare! One of the best fish sandwiches on the island! Really good lamb burger also! Beautifully decorated! Outdoor seating. Great air conditioning!

Really good quality food and service. One of the best places we have experienced in Sanibel.
The service is great, food is really good! There is outside dining which is another plus. We have visited several times and keep coming back! The mussels are the best I ever had! If you want a good burger , this is the place. The servers are both very attentive and cheerful. A nice plus when enjoying a meal.

From the great reviews, I was looking forward to dining at this restaurant while we were in Sanibel. I made a reservation weeks prior to coming. We wanted to move our reservation and I called the restaurant multiple times after we arrived in Sanibel (first week in January). I even left a voicemail which was never returned. We decided to head over to the restaurant anyway and when we arrived, there was a sign on the door stating they were closed until Jan 7. Another customer was there at the same time and said they just made a reservation a few days ago. Not sure if they had a COVID outbreak and had to close, but they should have called all of the people who made reservations. Food looks good on their website, but obviously they don't have great customer service/management. I don't like writing bad reviews for a restaurant I never went to, but felt like I needed to share my experience.

It was good and I'd go back again. I had the Short rib flatbread which was ok. The meat was terrific but there were to many large pieces of pear on it and it was soggy. The cheese plate was to die for! The mussels were tasty but small..good portion. Garlic butter sauce was excellent but the bread should be a dense bread. The bread served would crumble at the slightest bite.

What a nice wine bar and nice simple menu. Really good choices of some fantastic top shelf vineyards. We we're really struggling on what we wanted but eventually we went for the prize. Pictures below but let me tell you this baby has some serious legs!!!!!
