It started as a low-key night out, just me and some friends checking out a local dive bar. The place was grimy...the kind of spot where the smell of piss and stale beer hits you as soon as you walk in. Still, we figured we’d stick around and try to enjoy the night. The band on stage wasn’t great, and things got weird when the drummer’s girlfriend started chatting me up. I wasn’t looking for trouble, but apparently, the drummer didn’t like the attention she was giving to someone who wasn’t from around here. It escalated fast...next thing I knew, the staff was asking me and my friends to leave. No explanation, no chance to clear the air. It was obvious, we weren’t locals, and that was enough of a reason. If you’re visiting, don’t bother going to this spot. It’s a place for locals only, and stepping in as an outsider just isn’t worth the hassle. Lesson learned.

My grandparents went to AJ's Thanksgiving event. They have bragged to me non-stop about their server, the food, and the entire event. There was open handicapped parking right in the front. They sat at the bar and were served by the bartender. They didn't get her name but were thrilled with her friendly, attentive demeanor. The entire event was donation based, and an envelope was provided for privacy. I am so thankful to AJ's for hosting this event and to the staff who generously work the event. Thank you!!!

Totally disappointed!! The bouncer the worst that I have ever meet didn’t want to let me and my friend in because we didn’t have American ID but we were above 21 and had European ID. Someone like him shouldn’t work there!!!

As a local forget this place. They have always had a local line. We show up and they said “we could care less if you are a local, get to the back of the line.” I hope every local in off season stops supporting restaurants who do not support locals.

We went for a late lunch. We have been trying to find a spot for good fried shrimp and unfortunately a few of the other local spots have let us down. This place had the best fried shrimp on our whole trip. The fries were also tasty and crispy. Our food came out fast and you could tell it was freshly fried. I would definitely go back if I had time to do so.

Tuna Dip!! I also for the first time in my life decided to get some sushi. They have a pretty big menu of choices. I went with the Ranch & Reef rolls. It has cooked steak, soft shell crab, spicy aioli , and soy sauce. It was SO GOOD!!! I have literally thought about it and will definitely like to get them again. They were 19 bucks for 8 rolls. Server was good. The only down side was that no one was working the hostess stand and we had to find someone after 5 minutes or so before we got someone to seat us, but they were busy and after the rolls I had. I can somewhat forgive it!!
