Cool place in Grayton Beach. Live music everyday, one of the only places on the 30a that stays open late night.

We dined twice yesterday at AJ’s! For lunch we had the Navy bean and ham soup and also a cup of gumbo. Man it was good! For dinner we had oyster bar happy hour (about $12 per dozen raw). The prime rib was discounted too and they were both great! My compliments to both the chef and the oyster shucker!!

Always fun and great food. This was our third time here, the last visit being New Year’s Eve. Funny thing is, every time we walk in thinking it won’t be good and then after 9 PM, like magic, it turns into the best experience.

This place is a great spot to eat at or just go and socialize. We go to the Destin location more but both locations are a lot of fun to go to. The menu has a lot of choices of food and beverages

Check your charges. Bartender added himself $15 extra- that’s theft! I work in the restaurant business so this stuff really burns me. Also, after reading some of these reviews about the rude male bartender in the main room- this is probably the same guy. When I closed out he handed me my card and walked off. I stood there for a couple minutes waiting for my receipt but he seemed to act like he “forgot”. After this, plus him being a jerk all night- I decided to leave. Never got or signed a receipt. I had a feeling he would do something like this, so that’s why I was keeping an eye on it. Already disputed the extra charge with my bank. Will gladly pay for what I consumed not the additional amount he gifted himself. It’s not even about the money, but really the principle here. The group I was with actually had a blast the two nights we were here, consumed a lot, and were treated great by the other AJ staff members. I will give AJs the benefit of doubt here, and hope they don’t condone these actions by their employees, but there seems to be a common issue with this male bartender.

I was visiting and saw that AJ's offered FREE plates for Thanksgiving, with the option to donate to a local children's charity. The service was great, the food was decent and there was karaoke after. I absolutely love the vibe inside! All in all a very enjoyable Thanksgiving 😉!

A tourist trap that charges $8.50 for a craft Beer. McGuires has better food and beer for less, or just keep going to Sharkys in Panama City.

Everything was good. Super excited about soma y nonalcoholic drinks. Live music. Soup was bland is the only downside. Got a souvenir Tshirt.

The beer was dark and had a great tast, the oysters and rings were a 10. Zarai was amazing, the bartender was very professional and the music outside was fantastic. Thank you for a very giving me a very special night with my wife.

Go for the atmosphere and not the food. Great staff. Cute, fun pirate theme which was perfect for a beach vibe. Awful food. Oyster sandwich was actually terrible. The oysters were so overcooked they were more like jerky. The pork Benedict was awful. The shredded pork tasted old and the hollandaise sauce was more like a southwestern mayo aioli. The biscuit was dry. The fries were good and the child liked her fried shrimp meal. Sadly, we did not like the alcoholic drinks either. The mimosa wasn’t even cold. But outside was a cute little area and a fun vibe with the band. So maybe if you drink enough, you wouldn’t notice the food. Or maybe they are better with regular bar food like a hamburger. The atmosphere was cute enough that I might try again with much simpler food choices. However, some members of my family said it isn’t worth it and they wouldn’t go back

We went with friends for the 41st Anniversary of AJ's. Really disappointing. Aside from the 41 cent gumbo and AJ'S beers there was nothing that made this event special. I thought they would at least try to make it a bit like a party atmosphere. There was no live music, no decorations or other specials.I was expecting more from you AJ's ☹️

Our server was great, food was great - here’s my only complaint, and I take responsibility for not asking … but if “market price” for crab legs is $80… maybe mention that when someone is ordering 😱 Paid $120 for my 13 year old daughter and I to eat at lunch yesterday, and that was with no alcohol!
