Bud & Alley's is the best waterfront dining in Seaside and likely all of 30A. The breakfast is particularly excellent, and the staff is attentive and kind. They fed our large group and everyone loved it. The Longleaf Writers Conference is a big fan of Bud & Alley's - a supporter of our local educational outreach program for ten years! (The rooftop bar for sunset can't be missed.)

Their smoked tuna dip was the best I've had. We sat up top at the outside bar, which has a great view of the beach. They have some really good fans that make it pleasant even if it is hot. However, when we walked through the inside part of the restaurant, the smell has horrible. Hopefully, this isn't normal.

The rooftop bar is a must-visit for sunset, offering fantastic views. However, accessibility can be an issue, as the upstairs area is difficult to navigate with a wheelchair, and the outdoor portion has stairs with no ramp.
The food is a highlight, with the menu featuring incredible fresh seafood, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service is top-notch, with a friendly and attentive staff that enhances the dining experience. While the restaurant can be family-friendly, with some crying babies, the overall atmosphere is still enjoyable, especially for a nice dinner by the beach.
