With surprisingly few local craft breweries in the area, Idyll Hounds was a welcome oasis with a large and varied selection of high quality brews. My wife and I loved trying all the sour beers and a few others over two visits during our beach vacation! Fun side note - we were at a restaurant dining at the bar and talking to the bartender about Idyll Hounds and the owners happened to be sitting right next to us! Nice folks!
Best brewery around! Great selections on draft to included my favorites, SOURS! Great outdoor seating area and very friendly staff. The brewery equipment was quite impressive. This is definitely a must visit if you are a tourist looking for Great brews!

Flew into Panama City and needed a spot for a beer before I could check into my hotel in Miramar Beach.
Idyll Hounds has excellent beer - enjoyed the Ghost Crab pils the most. Small food menu, they do a Chicago Style hotdog and as a Chicagoan I can say they pretty much nailed it.
Staff is super friendly as well. Great spot for an excellent brew in the panhandle!

tried were absolutely fantastic.
I also would recommend trying one of their Chicago Style Hotdogs, delicious. What really stood out the most was the comfortable ambiance of the brewery, the dim lighting, the jazz playing in the background, just an all around terrific atmosphere! This place is a hidden gem!!!
Had a good time at Idyll Hounds trivia night. I just wish the trivia lasted longer. Only had time to try 2 or maybe 3 beers and that’s drinking quick. Beers were good and the environment laid back and easy. Good mix of ages and everyone was very nice. Would recommend a visit, and also recommend extending trivia time a bit longer.
