Wayne(host/waiter) was our guy on this food adventure. 5 ⭐ for him on this visit .My 16 year old son discovered this place while on vacation and had to take us there. Needless to say, it was a HIT!This is a cozy place with a great atmosphere. The menu has too many great things to choose from for one trip. We feel good about our selections.The ? sake flight was wonderful...I really enjoyed the chance to try the different flavor profiles in one sitting.Oh, the food was delicious and shared by all. We loved this place!!

Would not go back or recommend you even try. I've never in my life seen somewhere charge an unadvertised 15% fee for take out. Ask the person who got my food if it was for their tip and they were unsure even after asking the manager. If you're going to charge a 15% fee at least find a decent way to package the items. The sushi roll was way too small for the box, not sure if it was shaken as it was put in the bag or on my 5 minute walk back to where we were staying. The roll was advertised as having lump crab and all you can taste is onion. The Ramen was deconstructed (broth in a plastic bowl and everything else in a Togo box). Even after putting it in my own bowl and pouring the broth over, the noodles and other items still tasted day old. Ramen and broth had less flavor than what you would buy dehydrated from Walmart. Overall poor experience.

This was our second visit to Nanbu and it was better than I remembered when we were here 2 years ago. We had steamed eggplant buns, stir fried pork noodles and the shrimp bento box. The food is very fresh and so flavorful. We plan to return one more time before we leave the area.

I was very disappointed with the food here. Everything had a horrible taste and my sister and boyfriend both got food poisoning after eating here. I would not suggest.

Took my wife on a date and had a great experience. The waitress was amazing from her cocktail making skills to her positive energy. The sushi and Beef Bulgogi were a hit! Highly recommend trying this establishment out.

A hidden gem! It’s been excellent each time. The sushi rolls and poke bowls are really. Try the Grayton Sunburst Roll. They also have a great selection of saki.

Just ate here with family of 4, has two serves of dumplings, 3 kids meals (as the ramen was such a hit) and two beers for $80 which is great value especially in this area. Cool little location, food was high quality, service was great, and we took the leftovers home! We got there just after it opened which was good because when we left the place was pretty full (as it's relatively small). Would definitely go back.

Great ambiance! Amazing food! The Nanbu Noodle Bowl our server recommended is the definition of Japanese with a southern flair! Pork buns were great! That spicy tuna roll is nothing like you'll get anywhere else! Pretty impressive sake selection as well. RUN, don't walk to get you some!

Best Ramen we have had in a LONG time!!!Staff was friendly and attentive but didn’t hover.Lunch portions were larger than expected for the price!Bubble tea was delicious but on the sweeter side Incase that’s not your preference.Overall I am glad we stopped and can’t wait to go back.
