The crab cakes were delicious and large portions . The gumbo was excellent as well . We will definitely be back . The staff were warm and inviting and my order was ready on time maybe next time we will dine in.

Don’t let the small strip mall feel fool you! This place is truly a hidden gem! The crab boil was amazing! Two adults and two kids left full and happy! We’ll be back for sure!

My wife and I visited Coastal Steamer & Cafe to give their crab cakes a try. We started with the Seafood Dip Trio. They were all delicious. Both my wife and I would rank the smoked tuna as best followed by the smoked salmon in second. The crab dip was very good but it landed in third place. We had the crab cakes and the lobster roll as our entrees. We both had coleslaw as our side. The crab cakes were very good however a bit on the salty side. I would say the same for the lobster roll. Both were a little heavy on the Old Bay seasoning for my taste yet were still great. The slaw was perfect and complimented the lobster roll well. The staff and service were friendly and fast. I forgot to photograph the dips until we had already eaten a bit but I’ve included them for reference. The dips were the star of the meal. Excellent.

The best place to eat in the area! I ate here 5 days in a row with my daughter! Every thing I had was awesome! Great beer selection, fresh seafood and the staff is amazing! I will drive back to just eat here again! Thank you for making our vacation so memorable!!!

The lobster roll is absolutely mouth watering. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor in order to finish it. The bread is perfectly crisped & buttered, lobster full of flavor. I can’t get away from ordering anything else. I find myself dreaming about this sandwich. I live four hours away & I will make the drive just for this sandwich. The service was also impeccable. The tall pretty blonde server had amazing customer service. Even with the amount of tables she had, she made sure everyone was taken care of in a timely manner. Will definitely be one of my regular stops whenever I come back down for vacation.

This place is overpriced by about 40%. Service was average. Atmosphere is food-courtish but clean. Food seemed quality but portions are on the small side; I’ve had hot dogs that were more filling than the lobster roll.
