We recently had the privilege of hosting our wedding at A Sprig of Thyme, and it was truly a memorable experience. From start to finish, the food and service were nothing short of incredible. The intimate setting was perfect for our group of 30 guests, and the hospitality made the day feel extra special.

Food
The food was an absolute highlight—10/10 without hesitation. Every dish was beautifully prepared and received rave reviews from our guests. Whether it was the appetizers, entrees, or desserts, each course was thoughtfully curated and delicious.

Service & Planning
The owners, Luigi and Jessica, were wonderful to work with. Throughout the planning process, they were kind, accommodating, and treated us like family. While we did encounter a few hiccups during the planning stages, Luigi and Jessica’s dedication to ensuring our day was perfect ultimately shone through. On the big day, their attention to detail and warm demeanor made everything run smoothly.

Overall
We are so grateful to A Sprig of Thyme for hosting such an important milestone in our lives. The overall experience was fantastic, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to help bring our wedding vision to life. If you’re looking for a restaurant simply for a night out or a venue for a small gathering, A Sprig of Thyme is an excellent choice!!
I love knowing we will have an incredible place to celebrate our anniversary for years to come

We had four entrees, the flank steak was very tough, the chicken piccata was a a chicken leg that was not tender, two fish entrees were not flavorful and just warm. Lovely staff and owner but need some time to get the recipes perfected.

Parking: Should not be a problem

Knock off! Servers were clearly drinking. Waitress was rude and owner spoke too long and was cocky for having disrupted our meal. Food had little to no vegan/ vegetarian dish options. They were disrespectful and cocky. I would rather spend $400 to go to Paris because to get disrespected like that then spend it in America to get treated like that by some American waiters. They were very rude to my daughter specifically.

One of their servers, Elle, was so rude to me and my family and refused us service. My dad is a veteran and this is not how we would expect to be treated. Meanwhilst the other server was a little too much for us. Food was okay but not worth enough for our business, we are not coming back after that experience.

Totally enjoyed last night’s sold-out California Wine Dinner at Sprig of Thyme. It was a truly wonderful experience and evening. All five courses presented were exquisite and accompanied by a very delectable glass of well paired wine. It was easy to see Luigi and Jessica’s passion for making “Sprig of Thyme” a culinary gem. Already looking forward to their next event.

My wife and I had a very nice Savor Sarasota lunch here today 6-6-24, thanks to a great meal and excellent service by Liz; pleasant, friendly and efficient. We both had salmon over Couscous, and finished with a fantastic chocolate dessert. Well worth our hour's drive from the south side of Venice.

I ordered veal Milanese on 5/17/24. The presentation was fine but the veal was 2-3 days past its prime…it had that sickening sweet aftertaste and slimy as it was chewed. I ate about 1/2 of it, not wishing to cast a pall on the dinner party. I mentioned it to the waiter as I left the men’s room, to be sure the rest of the party did not hear. I made it clear that it was the meat, not the preparation. There was no apology, nor was the dish taken off the tab.Needless to say, I will never visit this restaurant again.I will contact my credit card company in the morning .
