Alpine Steakhouse and Butcher Shop

This was our first visit. I say first because we will definitely be returning. What a great experience. We went on a random Tuesday, so I knew it wasn’t going to be terribly busy (off season bonus!) Amelia, our server, was so friendly and knowledgeable-and just the right amount of attentive. Gave some good recommendations and both our selections were excellent. Steak was done exactly as requested and was, as my husband puts it… like butter. Au just was off the hook. Basically, if you are looking for a casual place to enjoy a really good steak (or anything on their menu), this place is it. Oh and we also visited their butcher counter and brought some of their selections home with us.

Amazing food! Had the chimichuri skirt steak and the Gulash. Both so delicious!!

I honestly don't understand how this place only has 4.4 stars. COMPLETELY underrated in my opinion. Or server was great, owner was wonderful, food was phenomenal. Best steak I've ever had, best stroganoff (filet mignon) I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Truly a wonderful experience, and I will certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good steakhouse, or delicious food in general. 10/10

Beef stroganoff noodles were bland. Sauce didn't have much flavor. BBQ platter was good.

My wife went out with her friends today. She ordered the Au Jus sandwich. She brought me home the half she could not finish. I started eating it and bit into a 1 inch sliver of bone. See photos. She called and spoke to a manager who said “I don’t know how that could happen since we shave our beef”. My wife said “it looks like it was shaved”. The manager replied “ok I’ll let the kitchen know”. No offer of replacing the sandwich etc…
Not very good customer service for a place with such a good reputation. Now here I am leaving what could have been a decent review.

2024: We returned for another visit! This time, we started with the sausage sampler, which was savory and delicious. It included knockwurst, bratwurst, sauerkraut, & whole grain mustard. For dinner, we had the French Dip with steak fries, and Mahi with onion rings. Both were delicious. Our server, Trista was knowledgeable with great advice and kept our drinks full. The atmosphere was clean, updated, and welcoming.

2020: We made it a point to visit the local DDD on our latest travels and Alpine Steakhouse did not disappoint. We started with the crab cake appetizer which was the best I've ever had. Full of crab, no filler, and fried to perfection.

My husband had the bratwurst with sauerkraut which he would rate at a 2 on a scale of 1-5. It was too bland for his taste, no bite, no crunch. His fries were crispy as he likes them. On our next visit, he would like to try the knockwurst.

I had the Cuban sandwich which was good. I ended up taking the bread off since it was filling me too quick. I also had the cucumber salad which was bland for my taste but good overall. On our next visit, I would like to try the French dip.

Our server, Chase, was very good, attentive and knowledgeable.

They had a large variety of fresh items that you could take home and a good selection of wine.

French onion soup is gas and the French Dip sandwich is steak-umm meat. Great spot! ??

We ate there tonight and my sirloin salad was the best salad I have ever ever had. The steak was delicious a d the salad dressing was so good. It had blue cheese crumbles and some red onions! The bread was also warm and very good. Mu husband loved his shrimp and steak too. There was no wait and great service. Great meal for the last day of our stay here!

I had the Prime Rib and Truffle Fries for dinner. It was probably the best meal I have ever had!! The bacon appetizer was also amazing. I enjoyed it so much, we went back for lunch the next day. The only thing that upsets me is that I live in PA and can’t eat there every week.

What an incredible place!!! Food is beyond excellent - all fresh. I’ve eaten here a few times and steaks are literally the best I’ve ever had, fresh not frozen and perfectly cooked every time. Seafood is all fresh and great. And the service is perfect - very personable staff who all seem to love what they do and definitely love working here.
