Our waitress was fantastic! Food was good. But we got there a little early thinking we could sit at the bar or outside to have a cocktail and they were kind of against it. They had reservations for the bar, which I thought was a bit odd but they did allow us to sit there prior to the resy. We were happy to sit outside and the hostess was a little edgy about it. Very strange. ???
I rarely go out to eat anymore as no restaurant food is really good enough or interesting enough or offers enough vegetarian/ pescatarian options. I am always disappointed. Baker and Wife is an exception, or at least is with the current menu. It was difficult to even narrow down all the many enticing options. My friend and I pigged out! We shared two appetizers and one entree. They were all terrific; they were also quite sizable. My husband's appetizer and entree really weren't...
I really like the ambiance at B&W. The waiter we had was great and very attentive. I was mtg a girlfriend and he did not rush us to order as he could see we were busy gabbing! Once we ordered though, unfortunately, they were out of a lot of the items that we wanted to order. That was the only issue. Drinks were perfect and the Ahi Tuna was delicious.
