Bavaro's Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria

Food and Service was excellent as always. Steven took special care of our group paying close attention to the gluten free needs of one of our diners. Our family all loved it.

The server was amazing and the food and drinks were just as amazing! The atmosphere is beautiful too! Will for sure be back again!

We had an incredible dining experience at Bavaro's Sarasota! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a perfect balance of casual charm and Italian authenticity. We ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese and the Penne al Funghi, and both dishes were outstanding. The Bolognese was rich, hearty, and full of depth — clearly made with love and traditional technique. The tagliatelle was cooked perfectly al dente, soaking up every bit of that delicious sauce. The Penne al Funghi was a standout as well — earthy, creamy, and comforting. The mushrooms were tender and flavorful, and the truffle essence gave it a luxurious touch without overpowering the dish. Service was attentive and friendly, and you can tell the staff truly cares about the food and the experience. We'll absolutely be back — this is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine in Sarasota!

Wonderful meal at Bavaros Friday night....there were 7 of us and we sat outside in the patio. Awesome service and the food was great. We enjoyed a combination of pizza's, pasta, salads, and a few cocktails. Superb!

Food was excellent (recommend the bruschetta and meatball appetizers). Service was friendly and attentive at both the bar and our table. We sat upstairs and it was a bit cooler than the bottom floor so we were very comfortable. Fun ambiance, will be back!

First I want to point out that it was A Holiday crowd evening, lots of families, and larger dining parties, so service was not the usual. Our waiter tried but did not cut it. The hostess picked up his slack and made the job seem effortless. Our waiter first, forgot our drinks, and bottled water. The food was delivered first. He apologized that he was hung up on the table of 13 asking too many questions. Not acceptable. My husband also was not happy with his pizza order. It was too soggy on top and burnt too much on the bottom. (This was also a first for us). A fork was missing in my table setting napkin roll up. The latter complaint is minor, but we have never had this experience before and we dine there whenever we are in town, which is often.

Carrie was an attentive server making our experience all the more delightful....started with Charcuterie...then each a different pasta....with enough for to-go boxes.

Great new find for my wife and I. The staff are incredibly friendly. Food was delicious. We enjoyed our experience tremendously.

Pizzas were good, our server Adrienne was very good. The music and ambiance of the outdoor space was perfect for our group of 8 but a bit loud for conversation. Fun night and I will be back.

Love every visit! I'm forgetting our waiters name but he is from Uruguay and has 2 kids 4 and 8. That should show we know him:) Thanks for the specialty meatball pizza it is now my favorite. It was cooked to perfection! It was a little thicker than others and I really like that. See you soon!

Mr. Bavaro - $19.00 / glass for a $12.00 bottle of Chianti? Get real !! I'll forget about all the other mis steps. When I was there a few months ago we were told that was being addressed. Let me know when it is and maybe we will be back. Thanks, Don

We went to an early dinner after the movies. Our server, Elijah, was great and very knowledgeable about the menu. He made some awesome recommendations including the Whipped Limoncello Pizza which was AMAZING! We will definitely be back!

I love the food at Bavaro's. They outdoor section and the music provide a fabulous place to have dinner.

We are regular customers, this is the first time we had extremely poor service. Waited 30 minutes for a server to even come to the table. Took over 1.5 hours to get our food. Noise level was incredibly high in the outside sitting area, so we sat on the side near the entrance. They need to tone down the music, way too loud to even have a conversation for 2 people at a small table. Food was good as always, but took forever to get it. What happened?
