Bavaro's Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria

This was the worst Caesar Salad I’ve had in a long time—Somehow, they managed to get it wrong. Definitely avoid the large size; the small has much better proportions.

The pizza is solid, but that’s where the positives end. It’s more of a pizza place than a true Italian restaurant, and the rest of the menu items reflect that. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

My boyfriend and I came in this week. We had the Tre Carne, the pizza was amazing and the service was top notch. Our server was Doug and he made sure we had everything we needed. It was a lovely evening.

Just had pizza here with my wife and we both had a wonderful meal. Service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. Will be coming back here soon!

We just absolutely have always loved the pizza here. This time I thought I’d go outside the box and order the bolognese pasta. Omg….so amazing…home-made pasta Especially cause I added some truffle oil to it=extra YUM! We had the BEST server, Steven. He was super friendly, knowledgeably, and attentive. It’s tough to find good servers these days that have all the qualities and I’m an ex server/bartender myself. We really enjoyed our evening!

We love Bavaro’s. The pizza is amazing, we’ve tried most of pizza options they offer. The chopped salad is 5/5. The atmosphere is lively, live music, tables perfectly spaced apart and the oven is a nice touch. The service is excellent. Elijah was on top of his game. He paid attention when we wanted to order more food, refilled our drinks and made jokes. Elijah was kind, genuine and made my kids laugh. So 5/5 for the restaurant, service and food. Try the chopped salad and Nutella pizza.

The first place I recommend pizza to anyone in Sarasota. The pasta dishes are also outstanding! Always a good experience at Bavaro’s.

Food and Service was excellent as always. Steven took special care of our group paying close attention to the gluten free needs of one of our diners. Our family all loved it.

The server was amazing and the food and drinks were just as amazing! The atmosphere is beautiful too! Will for sure be back again!

We had an incredible dining experience at Bavaro's Sarasota! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a perfect balance of casual charm and Italian authenticity. We ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese and the Penne al Funghi, and both dishes were outstanding. The Bolognese was rich, hearty, and full of depth — clearly made with love and traditional technique. The tagliatelle was cooked perfectly al dente, soaking up every bit of that delicious sauce. The Penne al Funghi was a standout as well — earthy, creamy, and comforting. The mushrooms were tender and flavorful, and the truffle essence gave it a luxurious touch without overpowering the dish. Service was attentive and friendly, and you can tell the staff truly cares about the food and the experience. We'll absolutely be back — this is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine in Sarasota!

Wonderful meal at Bavaros Friday night....there were 7 of us and we sat outside in the patio. Awesome service and the food was great. We enjoyed a combination of pizza's, pasta, salads, and a few cocktails. Superb!

Food was excellent (recommend the bruschetta and meatball appetizers). Service was friendly and attentive at both the bar and our table. We sat upstairs and it was a bit cooler than the bottom floor so we were very comfortable. Fun ambiance, will be back!

First I want to point out that it was A Holiday crowd evening, lots of families, and larger dining parties, so service was not the usual. Our waiter tried but did not cut it. The hostess picked up his slack and made the job seem effortless. Our waiter first, forgot our drinks, and bottled water. The food was delivered first. He apologized that he was hung up on the table of 13 asking too many questions. Not acceptable. My husband also was not happy with his pizza order. It was too soggy on top and burnt too much on the bottom. (This was also a first for us). A fork was missing in my table setting napkin roll up. The latter complaint is minor, but we have never had this experience before and we dine there whenever we are in town, which is often.

Carrie was an attentive server making our experience all the more delightful....started with Charcuterie...then each a different pasta....with enough for to-go boxes.

Great new find for my wife and I. The staff are incredibly friendly. Food was delicious. We enjoyed our experience tremendously.
