A magical night at Bavaro's Sarasota . 43 Bird Key Yacht Club members had a terrific time with great food, outstanding service and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Definitely a must for any gatherings whether a small group of friends or a larger gathering.

Parking: Great free lot next door to Bavaro's. Easy and simple.

Exceptional Dining Experience at Bavaro’s. I don’t know how we have been missing this amazing place.

Right in downtown Sarasota. Great location with their own parking.

From the moment we walked in we knew we were going to have a wonderful experience and we sure did.

The service was great. Our server David was attentive without being intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed.

He gave us few recommendations which we loved.
We ordered the delicious chicken wings (wow that sauce you can just lick your fingers), also Burrata, charcuterie board, salad and out of this world wood-fired pizza, perfectly cooked. OMG, one item from the menu was more delicious than the other.
I can’t wait to go back for more, specially more wings YUM!

Bavvaros is to me one one of the BEST Italian restaurants in Sarasota. So good!

They have THE best cannoli I ever had outside of Italy.

Service is also amazing! Today was our second time there and David was spectacular!

My son took me to Bavaro’s last night for my birthday and it was fantastic! I was so impressed with their resilience and creativity, as well as the quality of the food. They were still without power due to the hurricane and had transformed their space into a lovely oasis using portable lighting. Although the menu was limited, they improvised by using their wood-fired oven to produce a wonderful meal. Our server, Steven, was attentive, personable, and went over-and-above to ensure a memorable experience. Kudos to my new favorite restaurant in Sarasota!

After dining a day later, I'm still dreaming about that Authentic wood-fired Napoletana Margherita pizza. ?

First time visit to Bavaro's Sarasota. It was recommended by a friend. We had the roasted carrots as an appetizer. They were awesome. So good. We then each ordered a Napalotanean pizza, which was cooked to perfection. Also, so good. Our server, David K, was terrific. He was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely add Bavaro's to our restaurant rotation to return often.

This was my first time here and I LOVED everything about it. I am an unashamed food snob and can be very picky because I expect top notch wherever I go, but I would and will come back here in a heartbeat. David was our server and was so attentive, friendly and very helpful…so much so, that I’d request him again. We had a wood roasted carrot appetizer that was outstanding. The Margherita pizza is what I came here for and did not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and come here for some excellent everything! ?

Ok. I will get straight to the point. The pasta is far from fresh. The food is lacking flavor. This is low quality food. I had the bolognese with the flat noodles and a side of $3 cold bread. Won't go back.

Dined upstairs on a Sunday night with my family. I had a raspberry sour to drink that was deliciously sweet and tart. For the table we started with meatballs, garlic bread with cheese, and heirloom bruschetta. Each appetizer was fresh and tasty. We especially loved the ricotta on the bruschetta. As a main, I had the rigatoni funghi. The sun dried tomatoes perfectly paired with the creamy sauce. We finished with the Nutella pizza and tiramisu, both can’t be missed. The best part of the night was our server David. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. He made sure we were taken care of and always came with a smile. David was too notch and we would come back just for him, the delicious food would be a bonus.
