Big Water Fish Market Reviews
We just had the BEST dinner of our entire vacation tonight at Big Water! We had a huge soft shell crab po boy, amazing tots, fish stew, and the snapper piccata...hats off to Thomas, who was an awesome and knowledgeable server! After coming to Big Water every year since it first opened, the food and service is always excellent!
5 Stars! Food, Staff, and the service was top notch! It was our first time here and it was our last night in the Key. Glad we ended up saving the best for last! Shrimp Sauce? I believe his nickname was lol, he was super friendly as well as the rest of the staff. We had an amazing dinner and a fantastic evening, already looking forward to visiting next year when we come back! Big thank you to Big Water Fish Market! Truly a hidden gem!!

Big Water Fish Market is a highly recommended spot for fresh seafood. The fish tacos, clam chowder, and grouper Oscar are standout dishes, with fish cooked to perfection and flavors that pair well together. This small, fun, and casual market offers a limited indoor seating area, so it's best to arrive early or be prepared to wait. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the menu boasts excellent options, including mussels, grouper bites, hogfish, crab cakes, and mahi dip. Visitors can enjoy a sit-down meal or grab some fillets from the market to take home. Cold local beers on tap add to the relaxed atmosphere. Be sure to try their fresh fish, clams, and lobster bisque, and don't miss the deli dust as a tasty souvenir. The place has a great vibe, rustic atmosphere, and fantastic food, making it a must-visit hidden gem for seafood lovers.
