Great small seafood joint! The name says it all really! Visiting from Kansas city and i jave to say..THANK YOU!!!

sadly driving by yesterday sign on door says permantely closed peeked inside and it looks cleaned outfrom the siesta sandLeases not renewed by 2 businesses in VillageThe Seafood Joint, located at 217 Avenida Madera, and the neighboring Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream, located at 219 Avenida Madera, have permanently closed their doors.Neither have had their leases renewed effective Sept. 1 and did not pursue other leasing options, according to the Davidson family — landlords for the building that houses the two businesses.

Fresh local fish, in a small shop without the expensive frills.waitress was very nice and chatty. Sitting just 10 feet from the crab steamer really makes you hungry when a fresh batch is put in cook. Hushpuppies were piping hot and fresh, didn't want to wait for them to cool down to pop them in my mouth. The blackened triple tail was excellent along with the scallops and shrimp. The low cost no frills dining area paired with the quality seafood and presentation make this a good value. The only things that were a little off was the wobbly table, and the calamari appetizer seemed like it had freezer burns.

on vacation n ordered almost the whole menu, woowwww best seafood ive had to date, wife ate all my sashimi tuna. will be back next yr.

Our group of 4 had a fantastic meal!! I had the fish sandwich and my girlfriend has the scallops. Two of the kids had fish sandwiches and the other had calamari. The hushpuppies were some of the best. Worth the wait and definitely will be going back!

We were visiting Siesta Key and we were so hungry. We stumbled upon this amazing restaurant. We got great apps and seafood dinners. The waitress, Marissa, was great! Amazing food and service!

Wow! That’s all I can say. We were trying to go to one of the “famous” spots here, but thank goodness they were too busy…we came here and were blown away. SO fresh and good. Great service too.

Wow. Marisa was an amazing server, always smiling and explain every plate. Not to leave out Aaron that taught us so much about every seafood and the way to cook it. They were INCREDIBLE, lovely location, small and high quality restaurant. Really recommend the Seafood Trio or Steampot with a nice cold Calais on tap

Service was excellent and the food is fresh and good, our server Marisa took care of us we loved everything, definitely coming back.

Marissa and Aaron were amazing. Food was fresh. Also the best clam chowder I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the seared tuna and steam pot!!!
