Fresh local fish, in a small shop without the expensive frills.waitress was very nice and chatty. Sitting just 10 feet from the crab steamer really makes you hungry when a fresh batch is put in cook. Hushpuppies were piping hot and fresh, didn't want to wait for them to cool down to pop them in my mouth. The blackened triple tail was excellent along with the scallops and shrimp. The low cost no frills dining area paired with the quality seafood and presentation make this a good value. The only things that were a little off was the wobbly table, and the calamari appetizer seemed like it had freezer burns.

Had the peel and eat shrimp, Blackened Grouper tacos, and Wife had the blackened sea scallops. Some of the best seafood we've ever had!!! Food was bursting with flavor, cooked perfectly and price was reasonable considering the amount of food and quality. The owner is really nice, a local, and from the area. Do yourself, friends, and family a favor - GO HERE AND EAT SOME FRESH SEAFOOD!!!!!Sadly, they are closing down August 31 because the landlord is moving in a beauty salon and massage parlor?! WHY for the love of fresh seafood are you not allowing the owner to stay and provide this wonderful food to everyone who comes to visit the area!!! We stopped at this new place a couple times while on vacation in Siesta. We were pleasantly surprised with how fresh the food was, and how friendly the servers were. We had the grilled tilapia and it was the best I've ever had! We will definitely make this a regular stop in the future. Pro tip: call before going if you are in the mood for crab legs, or other specialty items, they do run out often.

This place was amazing. My friends brought me here as a spot they also love. Had the Mahi dip as a starter and it's definitely a solid starter. A little salt and pepper to taste makes it slightly better but solid alone. Had the trio platter with the tuna as the main fish with scallops and shrimp and it was amazing. The taste was great and it was accompanied by the sauce that was drizzled over all 3. Would definitely recommend. The waitress was very kind and attentive. The place is smaller but we'll worth the visit. Little hole in the wall spot and easy to miss but would highly recommend.
