Brine Seafood and Raw Bar

Great happy hour at Brine the other day after a successful closing on my clients condo. Opted out for a nice Absolute Cosmo $8 and 6 happy hr oysters, Sweet Lucy that evening. Decided to have more 🦪, picked a variety along w Lemon crush cocktail . Light delicious dinner in the books. Looking forward to trying other things on their delectable menu.

The oysters are incredible. The entire menu is delectable. We try something new each time we go. They never disappoint. The service is wonderful, also.
David is attentive, knowledgeable, and fun. If you're in Sarasota, Brine is a must.

Nice place, 'good food'. Not great but above average for this level of restaurant. Portions to me tend to be skimpy...not small just not on the fuller side. A chintzy feel to their dining philosophy. Example, I order a small wedge salad as they don't have a real wedge, I'm sure done for their interest in boosting profit. I just don't feel as a restaurateur this place seems like an upscale Culver's.

First off, Cassandra was a fantastic server. She was attentive and took care of us. The food here is beyond incredible. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the yellow fin tuna. Both were fantastic. Their oysters were a nice addition as well. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're visiting this area.

Our party ordered the seared scallops, "jumbo" crab cakes, ceviche, mussels and oysters Rockefeller. The scallops were not seared at all and under cooked. Jumbo crab cakes were a joke on the jumbo name, more like mini crab cakes. The only good thing was the mussels. Overall portions were small for the price they charged. And the restaurant was so noisy you could barely hear yourself think.

My husband found this gem near our hotel in siesta key because he wanted raw oysters. The oysters were clean and fresh. I ordered the crab cake entree with mashed potatoes and broccolini. The lump crab cake had no filler and was seared to perfection. It is the best crab cake I have ever had and I usually eat crab cakes if they are on the menu. My husband had the yellowfin tuna and loved it. We would highly recommend this place to others.

I can't believe this place has been here for about 4 years and I'm just now trying it. What an amazing experience. From the top shelf liquor and cocktail selection to the menu. You deserve to treat yourself to this place. The menu is too good to select a few times....it's all great!

I have been here multiple times with friends and family and keep coming back. Fantastic oysters & fresh seafood, we always have a great experience and I’m thankful to have such a great place in Sarasota to dine & brings guests!

An excellent restaurant with terrific appetizers (tuna tartar, mains (bouillabaisse, salmon, branzino) and sides (Gouda grits, roasted Brussels sprouts). No stars for atmosphere because the decibel level is ear-shattering.
