Best jalapeño bagel I’ve ever had. So much so I waited in line just to tell them that. Breakfast bagel, double meat and provolone. Fantastic. I’ve had my share of bagels and always Jalapeño, and Buddy’s is a must stop institution in Sarasota. The place is authentic NY, including the Pork Roll.

Went to the location on Beneva. I came in this morning with my boyfriend very excited to get some bagels and I can’t eat eggs so I ask the guy working there if there are eggs in the bagels and he says “yes all of them have eggs.” But then he says he doesn’t know for sure. Tried the “new” Buddy’s this morning. Bagels were good, fresh with a nice chew. Good cream cheese. Decent smoked salmon (Nova). Ordered online to the Beneva location, and paid for the order, got there, had to wait behind other customers who we’re ordering and paying in the store (should have a pickup counter). Turns out the order was not received (software issue), but they were most apologetic about it and gave us a bakers dozen bagels and a free muffin which was yummy...read full review
