Customers appreciate the warm atmosphere and the personal touch from Mossimo, who often surprises guests with an appertif and amazing canoli's for special occasions like anniversaries. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes, including excellent duck and rigatoni. Sarasota seafood is also skillfully prepared here.
However, some guests have noted that on Saturday evenings, the noise level can be quite loud due to acoustics, making it less ideal for a quiet dinner. There have been occasional disappointments, such as mozzarella/tomato appetizers not being as fresh as expected in August, and service that sometimes falls short, like inattentive waitstaff.
