Overview:
During a visit to Siesta Beach, we made sure to stop at Captain Curt’s Crab & Oyster Bar. The establishment is notably spacious, featuring two large outdoor Tiki areas where guests can relax with a drink or enjoy a meal. This place was horrible. Ask frozen food. Instant mashed potatoes. My crab cakes came out twice cold. outside The second time warm in the outside cold inside. Vegetables also frozen, and smelled funny. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE. Spent 2 and a half hours at a restaurant for food. Ridiculous. And the price for frozen food INSANE.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND. TOURIST TRAP.

Captain Curt's Coffee Shop is a great spot for delicious coffees, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. The staff is quick, courteous, and amazing. The atmosphere is nice, with a connected gift shop and courtyard area. While the coffee was just okay and the staff slightly lacking in helpfulness, it's still a very nice place for food, drinks, and live music.
