C'est La Vie - Pastries Breakfast & Dinner

A wonderful place for outdoor breakfast or lunch. Service was attentive and quick. The food was very good as well. Atmosphere is very 'Sarasota' (lots of small dogs in laps and under tables) the place is pricey but in line with the area. Waits can be significant so arrive a bit on the early side. (The selection of French bakery items is amazing!!)

We had breakfast here multiple days. Absolutely delicious. So we decided to have dinner one night. It was okay nothing like breakfast

I always enjoy having breakfast and lunch. Was here one time before for dinner and that was very good. New Year's Eve dinner was not so good but the appetizers were. Plus there was a $27 charge that did not belong to us and I had to have that taken coff the bill. I will still continue to go there for breakfast and lunch but I will not go there for dinner.

This is a romantic place with excellent wine, fantastic service, food, and desserts to die for. I highly recommend it.

C'est La Vie never disappoints. Geraldine and Christophe run a terrific site with friendly receptive staff even in the busiest of times. The pastry counter is a work of Art. Thank You for local spot to eat and enjoy with friends in the midst of downtown.

Superb food and service by Daniel was exceptional. Funny ,attentive guy. Made our meal a real pleasure.. Would highly recommend.

Have to stop here every time I’m in Sarasota for work. The food is wonderful. I always get the smoked salmon croissant, and it tastes just like what I imagine it would in France! The soup is always yummy, I loved the carrot the most so far. Definitely a gem in Sarasota!

We come here for wine and lunch after tennis. The service has been great lately, which is not usual in Sarasota right now. Food was great. I just love this little gem!

U can see the old menu's decent prices, But now since they reopened prices when Crazy and they take off the france amerique $15,85 Now dame price but without the croissant and I can mention a few more items like this one
