***UPDATE**** Been going to, and ordering the DOUBLE STEAK FAJITAS for over 20 years. Steak is tough, no marination, and over cooked. Worst meal there in over 25 years.

Hi, i’m not normally one to make a negative review or a review at all. But what I witnessed tonight was quite RUDE and DISGUSTING to see as a person trying to enjoy their dinner. I was sitting towards the back where the waiters and waitresses stand and wait for tables to be ready to order or come in. Me and my boyfriend were sitting when I watched two employees accidentally bump into each other. The man immediately apologized and so did the girl who was seen walking around cleaning tables. Quite literally a simple accident that shouldn’t have effect anyone. But it did. I watched the manager or who I think is the Manager (an older guy. very round face with white hair, with a nasty attitude) come walking out of the kitchen and started yelling at the two employees, considering I was 20+ feet away from him I heard every word he said. He tells the employees to “stop talking! It’s a Saturday night we didn’t have time for this”… The place wasn’t even packed… then the girl employee tried to explain it was a simple mistake and “he just bumped into me and wanted to apologize-“ He CUTS HER OFF?! and then THREATENS TO SEND HER HOME???!!!! are u kidding?!?! all because two people said 3 words to each other?! There was more to the conversation that was nasty but I will not list. I overheard people complaining earlier that evening about that manger. And I certainly understand why now. Old grumpy manger if you’re reading this, DO BETTER! Thats no way you should speak to anyone especially if its ur employees. No one will have respect for people who treat them like that! I noticed you completely shifted there moods and made them feel horrible about themselves after. I didn’t see her open her mouth once and neither did he unless he was talking to customers. I wanted to get up and say something for the sake of those poor employees under ur shitty supervision but decided not too.

We used to go to Chilis a lot but have not been in years.
We are traveling and wanted something decent but easy.
We got a couple of the BEST bacon cheese burgers and fries that we’ve had in ages for about $15 each. Unbelievable. Great food at a great price with awesome carry out service.
We are definitely putting Chils back on our menu.

I’m so upset yall took away the nacho appetizer it was one of the best apps I have eaten , I also was upset the server said quote “ do you want to star off with chips and salsa” I’m thinking it’s free cause some places do that like giving bread out to the table or chips etc but it was an appetizer he didn’t let us know that it was an app and we didn’t find out until the bill came . I was upset . The new menu is awful please bring back the nachos at least or the old menu all together. This was our 13th anniversary, 1 year of marriage and I was very disappointed with everything .

I suggest people tip based on service when the pay at the table machine is forced on you and your server, like mine was tonight, is non existent after bringing food & proceeded to chat with another employee loudly behind us the entire time instead of checking on the table even once.
The service was fantastic and a wonderful surprise. Thanks to all the wait staff on a Friday night.
