I went to the Choo-Choo’s food truck on Hwy 301 & Old Tampa Road in Palmetto. The bbq ribs are 10/10!! Do not waste your money on the well established BBQ restaurant down the road, this food truck blows them away!! The ribs are meaty, juicy and very tender!! FYI - They’re open Fri-Sat-Sun from 9am to sellout (around 3pm).

I am from Alabama and the ribs and chicken are both very good. Didn’t try any sides. Only barbecue in town I’ve been willing to try in the year I’ve lived here, and I will be back. He says he usually sells out by 12:30-1.

Great southern welcome. Think of big portions, then double it. Got 2 sandwiches, which fed 4 and had extras. They make a great pulled pork.

I got the pulled pork. They offered sauce but I declined. The meat is so good you don't need any sauce on it. Generous portions of good sides . I'll be back

This is a review of Choo Choo's in Parish, a take out food truck. After reading all the great reviews we were mightily disappointed. We ordered a 1/2 slab of ribs with beans and slaw, pulled pork, and a chicken breast. The ribs were good but it went downhill from there. The chicken was very dry and the pulled pork had a sweet bbq sauce added to it. I believe everything was pre cooked and being kept warm in foil trays in their smoker, hence the dried out chicken. The sides were nothing special either.
