Claudie's is a unique little diner and a hidden gem, a literal diamond in the rough. From the outside it may not look like much, but inside it is warm, inviting, and charming with a soft French flair. It is understated, casual, yet elegant. The owners are from France, extraordinarily friendly, kind, genuine, and provide top notch customer service. This family-run business offers fantastic and impeccable service that adds to the overall wonderful and pleasant atmosphere.
The food is outstanding, absolutely delicious, authentic, fresh, and everything is made from scratch. The choices are wonderful, with plenty of great options. It is quite rare to find such quality. A standout is the $15 brunch buffet on Sunday, which includes unlimited fresh pastries and treats, fresh lasagna and pastas with meats, and fresh-to-order omelettes, crepes, and pancakes. The prices are astoundingly good, more than comparable, and make it worth returning every weekend. For breakfast, lunch, or brunch, this little spot is an absolute find and a jewel in the Sarasota area.
