I really hate to do this but I feel like it’s necessary to warn the public about this establishment.. the customer service has gone downhill recently and I will no longer be ordering from this restaurant. You have lost a very long time customer, best wishes.

Robert and Bob are considerate and quick on their feet. The food is EXCELLENT! When I consider what other restaurants charge for a salad like their hardy antipasto, at $10, I dare anyone to find a better deal. The veggies and meats and cheeses are the freshest you can imagine. I’ve been back 3 times in the past three weeks and look forward to going back again. I’m not a big pizza fan unless it’s Jersey-NY style so I can’t attest to that of which is their staple. But, if you want a salad that is large enough to sever two (maybe even three), this is a great place to visit! ABBONDANZA

My staff and I order here often. The last several times we have picked up our orders, the manager, Robert, asks for tips. Today, I went to pick up the order because the others were uncomfortable going due to this guy's obnoxiousness. Once he put the pizzas and receipts on the counter, he pointed out I could leave a tip. I signed the receipts, picked up the boxes from the counter, he said "Awe, no tip". I was ignoring him on purpose, not to be rude but because I was focused on the grease running down the front of my shirt. As I was walking out the door, he yelled "Come on, no tip!". While I understand money is tight for everyone and tips are appreciated, I felt it was incredibly rude of this man to ask for a tip and then to announce to anyone within earshot that I had not left one. Mind you, this was not during peak hours, and they were not busy. This was not a delivery, and I did not get waited on. When I returned it was discovered the sodas where not present and the pepperoni pizza had no pepperoni on it. Here's a tip Robert, DO BETTER! Remember kids, stay in school and don't do drugs.

If I could give them a 0 I would first off they have my Uber eats driver the wrong order. So when I tried to call them to find out if there’s a way I can get the correct food they put me on hold for over an hour and still can resolve it. All I needed to know if my food was still there and no one could tell me. One lady said they are clonever going back ever againsed ( this was at 7:30 pm) they are clearly not. Still can't get a clear awnser Never going back ever again

Ordered for quick dinner. Was classic Hungry Howies pizza and breadsticks, tasted as good as ever. Affordable and satisfied the whole family. Didn’t eat in so I could only give 4 stars for atmosphere.

We never order pizza to be delivered but, I had surgery today and did not feel like going out. The experience was delightful. The staff was friendly, helpful and the Pizza was AMAZING. The pizza arrived sooner than expected, it was very hot, the crust was soft and had a wonderful flavor. I usually feed the crust to the birds, not tonight. I ate every crumb and so did my husband, which is rare for him also. We ordered the Howie Maui and are very pleased with it! I will definitely order from here again and can not wait to try some of the other items on their menu. Thank you to everyone at Hungry Howie's on 17th street that made our experience a wonderful one!

I would like to know how your business can survive with such a rude manager named Rob, I stood in line waiting to make an order why he took four people in front of me turned around, and because I happen to know One of the employees,he stated to me, are you going to make a f……order or just harass my staff why do you employ somebody this rude to costumers as of this date I will not go into that restaurant to order a pizza when that man is in there there’s no call to be that rude to someone waiting to place an order money in hand . While staying there, he took my order for chef salad finally, took money out of the register and left and left the store to go someplace else. He hadn’t returned by the time I got my salad and that was probably 10 minutes 15 minutes. Plus, I’ve seen him while I’ve been in there to make an order be just as rude to others.

I'm taking away a star because Google Maps still showed their old location, which is even more confusing because the old location is also a food establishment. I ordered online & there was no indication of an address change, since technically they're still located on 17th St... but now they're in the shopping plaza on the NE corner of 17th & Lockwood Ridge. Food was great though... and cashier friendly!
