Great place good food fair prices
HorribleHorrible! I have been going to Pop’s for years even in Bradenton and palmetto!! This was in the Sarasota branch! ordered a vegetable order with turkey, and home fries! I have never seen this in my entire lifetime de! What is it?? If you can see the picture! You would understand what I experienced! We stumbled across Popi's Place while staying at an AirBnb close by.... & boy am I glad we did! This place is awesome! It has a family owned feel with phenomenal service & fantastic food. All of the staff were friendly & welcoming. Chris, our waitress, was amazing. So friendly & personable. Good service is few & far in between now a days.... Chris was GREAT! Popi's Place is a smaller diner that serves breakfast and lunch, with counter and tables and a few booths. It is a great neighborhood restaurant filled with regulars, where the staff have become like family members and truly are the heart of this restaurant. The waitresses knew most of all the customers by name, showing a loyal following due to great food. The food is wonderful and should there be any issue, it is gladly corrected. The menu is huge considering they are open for breakfast and lunch only. For breakfast, the Country Benedict was very good and huge, and the fish and eggs with home fries and a biscuit was excellent. For lunch, the clam chowder on a Friday is absolutely sinful. The coffee is better than a chain. Popi's Place also catered a wedding, where the owner was an absolute sweetheart and a pleasure to work with. The chicken adobo was soft and flavorful, and the BBQ was so tender and juicy. This is a keeper for anyone looking for a home-cooked meal.
