Went there on a cool day, opened the door and turned around to go back to my car for a light jacket. There was no reason to be that cool inside. Even in Florida.

This is a good solid breakfast and lunch joint. You won't find tourists here, locals and regulars only. Super friendly staff and a good value.

We used to have a Woolworth's here in town, at Crossroads and it had a diner there. Walking into this location at Popis brought me right back to that time! We had chicken fried steak biscuit with sausage gravy and potatoes, had a hard time finishing it. Biscuits were so good, gravy needed salt, but tasty and hot. Service was amazing, those girls HUSSLE to get your food out fast. Yes it is small and cramped but it would not hinder me from eating here. It's called vintage or nostalgic with all the Ringling prints on the wall. Very much enjoyed the atmosphere. We usually go the Ellenton location, larger, but food is just as good.

Sat down for lunch. They asked me to put my order in quickly because it was close to 2:30, when they close. I put my order in and the waitress came back and said, too late, the kitchen doesn't want to cook!

The service was friendly. The food was mediocre. The grits were disgusting, my grandson loves grits and would not eat them. He tried to doctor them but there was no help for them. The atmosphere is very cramped. They have crammed in tables to where if you walk past a table you are definitely bumping into someone. Staff was friendly. Cooks need to pay attention. Watch temperatures, keep food at safe temperatures. (Potatoes).Parking: Parking is in a plaza. On the end. Very limited parking.
Communication is Key and Customer Service is an easy job.I wasn't happy with the cold insipid food or the cold insipid service and that's the short clean version.?I hate to spend GOOD money for Bad Service

This is worth a visit! The menu is huge, the specials and regular menu items are all great. Salads are good, not great, but nice size for a salad.
