Second time dining here. We split pizza and beet salad. They really know how to do dough! Excellent fresh ingredients. Nice wine selections. Fried artichokes were yummy and something I’ve not had before. We sit outside and it’s on Main Street so I dropped one star for atmosphere. It could use a little bit more ambiance is all. Staff is wonderful.

Looking for the great pizza? Lucile has got it. Pizza oven puts out the best crust! All fresh local ingredients. Choose from their menu choices or create your own. Plant Based... got you covered with many choices. Small intimate atmosphere, not noisy. Serves wine only, great selection. This is a great choice for everyone as they have choices for plant based, gluten free and vegetarians and meat eaters. Service was fantastic too!

We were recommended Lucile's pizza by the waitress at it's former sister restaurant (Lila's). We were welcomes by Theily into the quaint and tiny restaurant. With around 25 seats, the restaurant ambiance is very nice and comfortable.
Theily was very attentive when it came to questions about the menu. She was able to recite the ingredients of all the fried items on the menu to ensure that we knew they were gluten free. My mum and I had their gluten free pizza with our own toppings including spicy salami, sausage and extra cheese. The pizza was excellent. Admittedly, the dough is nothing like a regular pizza but it was freshly made, crispy and didn't crumble all. And the portions are huge! We could have definetely shared a pizza. My dad had regular pasta with lamb bolognese which was very good.
Overall, if you're looking for an allergy friendly pizza place with well educated and kind staff, Lucile's is your best bet.

5 Star experience. We had been told that Lucile, Sarasota was a hidden gem and a must visit stop in our food tour while on vacation. We dined in for 3 with a Vegan and Vegetarian.
We met Theily, who was extremely hospitable and knew everything there was to know about the menu and the great wine list. She made the entire night enjoyable for us.
The soup was incredible. The small plates and appetizers were all prepared to perfection. We did 3 of the pasta dishes for entrees and we were blown away at the execution and flavors. We shared one of their famous pizzas as well, a special with shaved asparagus, peas, cashew mozzarella, sautéed onion, pesto and Kalamata olives. incredible. We wanted to take a second home with us, one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had.
We can’t say enough about the service, the food and the experience we had at Lucile. Confidently recommend to anyone looking for a refined but unpretentious food experience.
Will be back next time in Sarasota.

Lucile Pizza truly stands out with its exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience. The manager, Tailey, is a gem. I phoned at 8:30 PM, just half an hour before closing, to check on their availability of gluten-free crusts. Despite the late hour, Tailey and her team greeted us warmly as if they had all the time in the world. There was no sense of being rushed; instead, we were welcomed with open arms.
We were able to order exactly what we wanted without any hassle. Vegan is front and center on the menu with plenty for carnivores. The pizza was phenomenal—boasting a thin bottom with a satisfyingly beefy crust. Hand-tossed and fire oven-baked to perfection, it was a culinary delight. Having sampled pizzas from all over the world, we can confidently place this in our top five!
Despite usually opting for gluten-free options, I took a risk with the regular crust made from imported flour. In the U.S., gluten often causes issues due to processing methods, but I'm pleased to report no adverse effects the following day. The crust was perfect, and my system handled it well.
The atmosphere at Lucile Pizza is stylish and up-to-date, with music that complements the ambiance perfectly. All in all, Lucile Pizza offers a top-tier dining experience that we highly recommend!

The manager took our order at just a few minutes before they were closing. She still seated us and they gave us some of the best gluten free and vegan choices we've ever had. I'm not in Florida often, but will remember this place any time I come back.

My husband and I dined at Lucile last night for the first time. We both had our own pizzas and both of us enjoyed it. The crust was a perfect thickness, crispy on the bottom and with the perfect doneness on top. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness and was in perfect proportion to the cheese. The toppings we selected were delicious and fresh.
The atmosphere is quaint and open. Really inviting. The service was lovely as well. We will most definitely be back.

Clean, healthy and oh so delicious pizza! ?
We visited Lucile from out of town and enjoyed our experience overall. Though there was no changing table or high chair, our 8 month old was able to sit on our laps. The menu has a variety of options and we enjoyed our create a pizza more than the Margherita (vegan). I would return. We parked across the street and didn't have to pay because of the time of day.
Dietary restrictions: A place that caters to vegans and vegetarians alike. A good spot where everyone can enjoy.
Kid-friendliness: Although they allow children in the restaurant, there are no high chairs or changing tables to accommodate your little ones.

We can at 9:01 the guy said that last sitting is at 9 pm and said he can't seat us. I guess he just wanted to go home. Owners of the business lost at least $150 as there were 5 of us and I usually add a big tip
