We were able to get seats at the bar. We enjoyed ourselves. The bartender Jen was great. It was busy and she was on her toes as she was the only bartender but made sure everyone was taken care of. The expeditor was impressive. His name was Brody. It was great to see a young man being so attentive to what he was doing and making sure that the staff knew what was going on. Our food was delicious.
We have lived in this area for over four months. I do believe this has become our go to place. Of course, with Pelican in its name who can resist. Definitely the best coconut margarita around. And if you read my past reviews you will know this is coming from a Cajun girl.
Been disappointed the last few times. Everything was over cooked. Salmon, shrimp and even the stuffed grouper was over cooked. There were fish bones in the stuffed grouper, not sure if from the fish or from the stuffing.
This place can do better.
