As a native Floridian i was quite skeptical at first: how could a restaurant in florida not have grouper bites, chowder and fish n chips? What is going on here?
But i took a chance and the food is amazing! Keep it up boys.

Hats off to Chef Drew and his crew! This restaurant is a must. The food, drinks, service were impeccable.
There is a new menu often, but if you can try the grilled sugar snap peas, octopus, and cobia, please do. The chocolate cheesecake was perfect. The nutty professor and spicy marg were spot on as well.
We have already made two more reservations as it IS that good! We will be trying the chefs tasting menu as well.

Textures off, gnocci soft like mash potatoes, crab cake mushy and pared with soft rice. The flavors where there but texture off. The zuccini dish was just not good, the use of crispy garlic from a jar was over the top. The octupus was chewy, and rubbery and the tomato was too smoky. menu description did not live up to dish. The deserts overall, ok but reaches, trying to be special but really were not. Flavor profile was great on the Ritz ice cream but a reach on a menu and the use of cheese worked but it was not sharp, should be sharp.
For the record I have eaten all the above items countless times, these lacked one thing overall and that was textures.
The burger was great! The pickling on the green tomato was spot on!
The milk bread was great!
The bao buns where great!
Duck dish was good.
Service was ok, but odd. To much to un-pack. The style of shared plates is the way to go, except the server put salad like dishes and starters out last! The order of plates was just one more thing that was off.

Tonight we experienced Adeline and it remains my favorite restaraunt in Sarasota. The food is consistent, sophisticated, and comforting. Tonight we tried the Lamb Hummus for the first time and WOW ! The flavors danced around my mouth it was euphoric (and still on my mind). The service is ALWAYS exceptional ! Every server we’ve had has been knowledgeable and eager to help. Adeline is a Sarasota Gem.

OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND
Super clean - top atmosphere - personalized experience & on par with a Michelin restaurant (food & experience)
Came for a date night after having seen a recommendation on Reddit and can confirm the best food and overall dining experience was the best I’ve had in Sarasota.
We sat at the “chefs table” where you get a view of the whole kitchen and even talk to Drew the owner.
The attention to detail was impeccable to food placement, seasoning, details and finishing touches.
Cannot wait to go back. Thank you Adeline.
P.s every dish melts in your mouth!

Simple but elegant Asian fusion restaurant. A gem in Sarasota. Enjoyed crispy pork, cabbage salad, gnocchi in Parmesan cream, the crab cake, and a sublime slice of Basque chocolate cheesecake with ice cream and spiced pecans. Service was perfect. Will stop in again.

I grabbed a sandwich at Little A. Love the bread on the Italian sandwich but they wouldn't replace the prosciutto with something else so that was disappointing.

My husband and I went for his birthday on a Saturday night. We were seated when we arrived which was 15 minutes earlier then our reservation. Josh our server was exceptional. He answered questions about the menu and was so friendly and attentive. He explained to order all at once and he will coordinate what comes out at what pace. It was nice not to rushed. We had the milk bread with the raw scallop. Never have we had a raw scallop. It was delicious and dipping the bread in the scallop sauce was everything. My husband ordered the duck and I ordered the burger. My husband said the duck was one of the best he has had. They ended up being out of the burger. Josh was awesome, he felt terrible as I was so excited to have it and he said it was the last one when I ordered but unfortunately someone else must have ordered it at the same time. Instead I opted for the tuna and then Josh insisted I get something else. He recommended the soba noodles. Both were great! I think the tuna was my favorite dish. Toasted ginger on top. Sooo good. Both my dishes were on the house which I thought was super generous. Josh made it a great night for us. And the food speaks for itself. The chef knows what he is doing for sure!!

Our experience was fantastic. We sat at the Chef's bar watching the kitchen in action. Servers were very attentive. The head chef and owner served us several of the dishes and took the time to answer questions and explain the dish.
Everything is homemade, including basic things that most restaurants purchase, like their bao buns and naam bread.
Our favorite dishes were the lamb humus, crispy pork, and duck bao buns. The tuna and oysters were also tasty.

We have been coming to this restaurant for years. The food is always excellent and the bar / drink experience is always excellent. Drew (Chef/Owner) and Alex / Jackson (bar team) are always attempting to get to a higher level. This is a must visit when in Sarasota area!

Adeline provided an exceptional dining experience that we can’t recommend enough! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the sophisticated yet approachable atmosphere—elegant without feeling stuffy. The service was equally outstanding, with our server guiding us seamlessly through the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations that elevated our evening.
We had the pleasure of dining at the chef’s table, which made the experience even more unique. The menu showcased a wide variety of creative dishes, and every bite felt inspired and thoughtfully crafted. Here’s what we tried:
• Japanese Milk Bread with Butter and Ramp Salt: A delightful start to our meal. The addition of ramps was a rare treat, especially in Florida, and added a subtle, unique flavor.
• Tuna with Fried Ginger, Tamari, Cilantro, and Sesame: Light, refreshing, and generous in portion. The freshness of the tuna paired beautifully with the vibrant flavors.
• Marinated Beets with Avocado and Whipped Goat Cheese: This dish was indulgent in the best way, with a perfect balance of creamy and earthy notes.
• Beef Tataki: A filling yet surprisingly light dish that kept the balance of flavors intact.
• Special of the Night - Shrimp with Shredded Chayote Squash and Peanut Satay: A creative and flavorful combination we’re still thinking about!
• Cobia with Sea Island Peas, Leek, Onion Au Poivre, and Kale: Incredibly satisfying and hearty, rounding out an already remarkable meal.
We truly appreciated the opportunity to collaborate with our server, selecting dishes and trusting their expertise to guide us. This elevated our meal into an experience of exploration and discovery.
If you’re looking for inventive cuisine, impeccable service, and a refined yet welcoming ambiance, Adeline is the place to be. We’re already planning our next visit!
