Have never been really into Cuban food but coworker had me try the Ropa Vieja. Holy Cow! It's so amazing. The flavor is truly amazing, the yellow rice is delicious and the plantains!!!! MMM MMM MMM!!! This lunch is BOMB! Thank you all!

The food is great.
If they have it. They're always out of half the menu. Can't get papas rellenos or flan ever. 😭 The server is a bit rude when you order takeout and don't eat in.
But the food is really good.

Sadly the Cuban sandwich and guava pastry were sold out for lunch.
We had the puerco asado and chicharron and it was delicious and comes in big portion.

When I arrived the place didn't seem very good to me, but when I saw the cleanliness and tried the food I fell in love with the place, the taste of the food took me to Cuba in its good times, Creole food with an inexplicable flavor.

Absolutely amazing Cuban food, the taste of everything was just so good, felt like the food was more natural with way more flavor than in any other restaurant. Great food, if you are Cuban and live in Sarasota or nearby you have to eat here, the place is small but what kind of food it has!!!

The service was excellent and fast. The young lady who took my order was very polite and made me feel welcome. I was in and out in about 5 mins considering it was Saturday evening and the place was packed, with customers waiting outside to be seated. The food was phenomenal. It was hot and very fresh. The roast pork was tender, juicy and very flavorful. The portion was gigantic. I was full on half and saved the rest for my lunch the next day. I am here 2 weeks for Hurricane Milton storm work and this will be my go to restaurant. I can’t wait to try some of the other dishes they prepare. This place is a true hidden gem by the airport and you will not be disappointed!

Excellent food and a frequent visitor. But waited ONE HOUR from order time to receiving food. Ran out of drinks and not offered until end of meal. Had to go up to register to get take home boxes and to pay bill. Unacceptable regardless of how busy. Poor Customer Service!!

Love her food. Few tables so get there fast and parking is tough. Other than that it’s worth the money and inconvenience of not finding parking.
