This place was packed and it was our first time visiting, we were on vacation. We were told a 15 min wait for a table but it took about 30. Others were sat before us but, I think that was because employees were waiting on a table to better accommodate a wheelchair and walker. The server was very friendly and helpful with questions. The food was mediocre. I ordered the grilled red snapper. The others in my party, ordered the Mahi blackened. The pilaf looked and tasted like it was left over from the week. One other person ordered grouper poppers or similar a sweet potato and lobster bisque; the bisque described as a topped with chunks of lobster. Our favorite place! We go a few times a month for NE steamers, and occasionally a few other items!
Today we both had NE steamers, I had a bowl of Manhattan clam chowder and my boyfriend had whole belly fried clam plate. The chowder was delicious. I have had Manhattan chowder a few other places but this was chuck full of clams and ingredients!
