Their plain Jane smashburger is, in my opinion, the absolute tastiest in either Sarasota or Bradenton. Yum!!

Ok, if you haven't been here, what is wrong with you??? The Smashburgers are the BEST ANYWHERE!!! The BBQ is incredible as well. Everything here is FANTASTIC!!! It is an addiction and a Tasty One at that!!!!

Went there and to my amazement contrary to what the reviews said, the couple running the place were awkwardly nice. I wanted a burger and couldn’t decide which one I wanted. He said have a seat and returned with all of them. Portions for the patties were giant for smash burgers. The classic and OG were amazing. Now as far as the bbq …. all delicious… the sthexiest part of the place was the cornbread that are skulls. Just wow. Art on the wall super cool. The place is super clean. Go in and order the menu. Sit down and enjoy your meal. This place has delicious food, and the owners 👃🏼it

Hands down the best bbq in Sarasota. The brisket was perfect. Tender, flavorful, and great bark. Loved the skull corn breads.

The best BBQ in all of Florida hands down. Whatever you order, make sure you get some beans and cornbread to go with it! From their burgers to ribs, to pork to.....well, everything is just amazing.

I ate here last night for the first time. I had been wanting to try a Smashburger, and I had the OG, which comes with fries. Loved every bite! I will be back to try some of the other items on the menu. Everything looks good! I can’t decide what will be next! Friendly service, laid back kind of place. We ate in, but take-out is available, too.

GET THE RIBS!!!!! Juicy, Smokey and DELICIOUS 😋 They have extra sauces on the side counter. I recommend latherin' em up with that xxxtra hot BBQ for flavor that really penetrates your taste buds and keeps your tongue throbbing for more..

Ratings didn't match the expectations. Ribs were good, not great. Got 2 full racks. Lots of dried out and burnt areas.
Mac and Cheese is a joke, and is worse than Kraft boxed stuff. Just 100% avoid.
But hey, the cornbread was fabulous. And cool.
Overall. For the price, Sonny's is way better.

Cannot beat in price portion or taste! Best in the area, in house sauces are unique, I guarantee their brisket will beat Mission BBQ and Bricks. Cannot skip this spot if you come to Sarasota.
