The Ringling Grillroom

Always a pleasure to find here before a show. It's great sit outside and enjoy the view of the grounds and the food and service are consistent.

Went early dinner 4 pm following a matinee. Room was nice and quiet. Service excellent. Hamburger excellent. Fish entree grade B. Overall was enjoyable. If you like quiet go for late afternoon/early dinner.

We always enjoy our meal at the Ringling Grill room. We went this time before the theater show at the Asolo. Perfect to get parked, eat dinner and then see the show.

The Grillroom was recently sold to a large corporate food service, and it's a shame. We eat there often, but this last visit was dreadful. The calamari appetizer was so overcooked that it was like chewing leather. We returned it. The burrata was delicious. My medium-rare burger was raw, and our chicken Milanese was so overcooked that we were barely able to cut it—a sad turn of events for a once-consistent favorite.

Everyone loved their food-flatbread pizza, burger and salad, soup and meatballs. Service was excellent. Lovely setting.

Terrific meeting place after seeing a show at Asolo rep Theatre next door. The staff is knowledgable and let us sit and catch up for a long time after we finished eating. The wine list is pretty good too! We just had apps-calamari which was excellent and the hummas which was also fantastic. A truly lovely place to eat.

A very disappointing dinner. We booked an early table as we were going to the theater next door. The menu was great for a lunch time cafe, but not for a dinner before a show. We had dined at this restaurant previously when it was under a different name, and probably management, and it was good. We had two appetizers as the entrees were not interesting for us. With 3 glasses of wine and a small dessert, over $100. We will not be back any time soon.

The salmon is consistently very good. Never over cooked. Tried the garlic rolls. They were huge and yummy. We'll be back

We ate outside sheltered from the wind and enjoyed the view of the grounds. Our crab cake with arugula was all meat, well seasoned and perfect for a pre performance lunch.

The service is always prompt and attentive. My tuna Nicoise was fresh, the tuna perfectly prepared and presented beautifully.

Service was excellent. Judge was a great server. The food was ok. Ingredients were missing from the salad. Turkey on the sandwich was pre sliced deli meat, not Boars Head oven roasted turkey as specified on the menu. Not a bad spot for a quick lunch before touring the museums.

We been before, low on staff. Food was ok we all ordered Lobster rolls. They were not full at all, for 30.00 I'm looking for a true Lobster roll. Never came back to refill drinks and they were out of the better wines.

We always have a good dining experience at the Ringling Grillroom! We look forward to heading over there again soon!

service fabulous, experience lovely, menu not indicate that tuna salad was raw but they were able to fix it!

Jennifer was such an amazing ambassador for the grill team! She saw the distress I was in with a toddler and immediately calmed the situation with stickers!!!! We were immediately transported into this tranquil space with a zesty Bloody Mary for my partner, and a nice glass of elixir for me! She highly recommended all of my top picks however the salmon blt stole my heart! I plan to grab one to go!!!!

The children’s grilled cheese sandwich was thoughtful, whole grain bread and quality cheddar cheese.

The main salad with toasted pumpkin seeds, sunflower seed and the herbaceous vinaigrette!!!! Amazing!!!! I’m not a huge salad girlie but let me tell you!!!! It went so well with the salmon blt! The lemon aioli was tangy and delicious! The bacon was crisp! The lettuce and tomato was fresh and the blackened seasoning gave the sandwich the perfect edge of flavor and balanced so well with the buttery brioche! Literally best lunch in Sarasota thus far!!!!
