Always stop here when we are in town. It's not the fanciest or probably the best food but it's locally owned and something unique to the area. Always love supporting smaller businesses and have always had great service while eating at a place with a unique atmosphere

Nice guy and great service what doesn't make since to me is that they don't let you fish at the doc, I feel like allowing to fish would bring more business to the restaurant and the bait Shop

New Pass Grille is a fun place to grab a bite to eat and relax by the water. You can get there by car, boat, or paddle board. Menu is simple but oh so fresh. Sandwishes, burgers, and seafood entrees. There are picnic tables by the water - super casual. Tje gift shop sells bait, ice, and souvineers.

Location, Location, Location. That is the best thing about New Pass Grill. Located with a view of Sarasota Bay the view sitting and eating is one surely you do not want to miss. However, it is best to sit with a beer and enjoy the water without eating. While they give you a generous amount of fries the burger was not very good. I ordered the angus burger but I highly doubt that was what I was given because it did not taste anything like I expect an angus burger to taste like. The fish my wife ordered also did not have much flavor, instead just having a battery taste. Sitting with a beer is your best option here, but be forewarned their beer prices are quite high.

Great food and atmosphere! That hasn’t changed, but just went there as I have for years and ordered tuna salad. At first it was 3 scoops on lettuce with a pickle and sliced tomato, then it went to 2 scoops on lettuce, now it’s 1 scoop and that’s it. I don’t recall pricing except today $11.76 plus 20% tip. Why would you not just charge more, instead of drastically reducing the amount? I left very hungry and wanted to stop somewhere else to get a real serving. Shame on what’s been a very good establishment. Very disappointed

While the food might not look pretty at first glance, it's packed with flavor. Nice little spot to stop by and have a sandwich or burger. My wife and I had the fried chicken sandwich and the angus beef burger. Most people like the Burger, but I personally felt the chicken sandwich was way better. To order, you go the cashier, and pick up your order on the side. The whole place is outside seating, so it's a little difficult when it's hot

Drank a beer with a friend from Punta Gorda while visiting from Wentzville Mo. Old, nostalgic place. Saw a drunk lady fall splat on her face, she was ok , glad it wasn't me!

Parking: Depends on the day and time, it could get tough to find a parking

Food is avg bait shop guy wasn't very knowledgeable and the live bait selection is horrible go to Annie's bait shop they have a much better sort d selection
