Used to be 5 stars!! This was our absolute favorite pizza ? in Sarasota for YEARS! Mark and Ben are the best! We've known them a long time. Really great crust, sauce and cheese. But oh how things change. On our last visit, neither Mark nor Ben were there, we ordered a large cheese pizza, ate a couple slices before leaving with takeout and hubby had a beer. We think it was cooked twice...really. We also thought maybe it sat out to be used as slices for sale, and then cooked...
We go there every Monday for a large pepperoni pizza and a couple of specialty root beers. Always a good meal and a good time. And for a treat, the owner Mark makes some delicious homemade cheese cakes.
We also get their calzone and their pasta Alfredo penna with either shrimp or chicken, also a hit.

I was looking forward to trying the garlic knots and the white pizza (by the slice). The garlic knots were dripping in grease and the texture reminded me of donuts, and the white pizza was as hard as plywood. I also got the toasted ravioli and a slice of Sicilian pizza and they were good. I spent @ $25 and tipped (your staff is great!) and threw away the knots and white cardboard. I won’t be back.
