Memorably good food. We especially enjoyed the sweetbreads, lamb chops (rack), vichysoise, wienershnitsel, and desserts the waiters are knowledgeable and friendly, excellent wine variety and prices. The venue is a bit old fashioned and quiet when we sit in wine room. Looking forward to our next visit
Roessler's is a hidden jem, which is surprising given its long history. This restaurant is excellent in every respect. It may be the best "continental cuisine" restaurant in the Sarasota area, the service is excellent, the menu is interesting and wide, the wine list is outstanding, the decor and ambience are also excellent. What every diner wants: an excellent dining experience.
As always our dinner was a wonderful experience. My lamb was less than wonderful but they made it right. The salmon, meatloaf and chicken were great. One of my favorite restaurants for special occasions.
