Wonderful service by Marley! We celebrated a birthday in style. Thank you so much for the wonderful food, drinks and ambience to make it special
Great food and service-as always! Lamb and salmon dishes were amazing . Highly recommend this restaurant.
Cassie was an exceptional waitress! So professional, knowledgeable and enjoyable. Thank you Cassie. I took my out of town girlfriends and they are still raving about everything: food service and ambiance! Also, Laren at the upstairs bar was wonderful!
Service was outstanding, appetizers and desserts were excellent. The main courses were slightly lacking compared to our expectations, the pork chop was slightly overcooked and the agnolotti pasta was a bit stiff. However, the food and drinks overall were still amazing and enjoyable, and the ambiance of the restaurant really made the experience.
Service was excellent. Entrees pricey and stingy. I had the chicken cassoulet had Little Flavor. Chicken was $42.00 and boulbaisse $60.00. We requested bread and were informed they don't serve bread. We would have been happy to pay for it. The rooftop is lovely for a cocktail. But I would not recommend for dinner.
Our first visit to Sage and it was delightful in every respect. Although pricey, the food was very well prepared and delicious. Above all, there was no booming music interrupting anyone's conversation. The space itself is beautiful and the tables are perfectly separated. We have been dining in Sarasota for years but only discovered Sage accidentally when looking for a dinner spot near Florida Studio Theater.
Two of our dishes were quite good. The tuna tartare could've been good, except the mango was completely unripe and very hard. The other part was we failed to ask the price for the special which was two scallops in the appetizer portion 4 for an entree, the appetizer was $36 which was a bit of a surprise when we got the bill
Overall, excellent experience. Beautiful setting, nice menu, excellent food, very attentive service. Rooftop bar is also excellent, very nice casual setting for pre-dinner drinks with excellent views of downtown. The lone bartender got slammed, she could have used some help.
Always amazing food and craft cocktails. Second time with Marley as our server, excellent attention to detail and curating our food choices.
I ordered a cosmopolitan with Cointreau on the roof top. The bartender said sure and served a Cosmo with something that was not Cointreau. She substituted without asking. A bar of this caliber should have Cointreau first of all. Second of all, when a customer makes a request, they should be told that it is not available. Do not substitute without asking. Our view on the roof top was a parking garage. My short ribs were tough. My husband's Thai bouillabaisse was average at best. There are far too many better restaurants in the area. Our meal and experience was not worth $400. We are residents and will not be back.

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Food was delicious, excellent service all around. The atmosphere was fantastic and also very quiet.
We're very disappointed with food taste and flavor. The restaurant is nice and service is good. All four of us were dissatisfied with taste of food. With many much better options in Downtown Sarasota (within the same price range, same ambiance and service), we're definitely not coming back to Sage. We regret dining at Sage.

Spectacular. Everything you would expect and then some from the moment you enter. This was our second visit to Sage and we will be back again.
Impeccable service, sophisticated atmosphere, with delicious seasonal culinary and mixology creations.
