From start to finish, everything was exceptional. We started the evening with cocktails at the rooftop bar, which offered a beautiful view and a relaxing atmosphere — a perfect way to kick off the night. For dinner, I ordered the seabass and my husband had the steak special, which was a filet. Both dishes were cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen puts real thought and care into every plate. The ambiance inside the restaurant was elegant yet inviting, creating the perfect setting for a romantic evening. Our server was on point — attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly timed with each course and check-in. Sage is a true gem in downtown Sarasota. From the rooftop drinks to the final bite of dinner, everything exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back!

Our experience here was nothing short of incredible. We went with another couple for a dinner and were amazed at how wonderful the waitstaff was. Nick the server and the rest of the staff pulled out all the stops to make sure we had an awesome experience and meal. Nicks recommendations for pre-dinner drinks, appetizers, wine, and the meal were spot on and perfectly paired. His personality, attentiveness, and overall demeanor was excellent. We would 100% recommend anyone to go here for a nice evening.

Finally dined at Sage SRQ last evening! It was just as delicious as everyone posted on FB Sarasota Foodies. The decor was amazing and I took advantage of their version of savor Sarasota even though they do it year round from what I understand. I had a delightful salad with fried oysters, the chimichuri steak & creme brulee for dessert prefixed at $65. My dinner partner had the seabass with risotto  & Caesar Salad. Delicious food, atmosphere & didn't break the bank!

Disappointing. Sirloin steak special at $60 ( really) was overcooked. But, server removed the charge from the bill. Amazing server, he was attentive, personable and professional. The Seabass was also dry on the edges but center was fine. Creative specialty drinks, just fair. Two other entrees were enjoyed. Love the building, the ambiance was lovely. So many other restaurants to explore, won't return here.
It sports a gorgeous interior with beautiful chandeliers and upscale flair. The food is always tasty tho pricey. One of us had the summertime special menu but I ordered from the regular menu. The pork shank is delicious and wonderfully seasoned, as was the corn soup. My friend loved the grilled oysters and the caramel crème brûlée, but her pasta was very spicy and lacking in sauce. Our waiter was very willing to fix any issues and couldn't have been more pleasant. Very good wine list and cocktails. Bread would have been nice but not essential.

Sage never disappoints and we love how the chef always loves to change it up. Not only is the inside beautiful but phenomenal rooftop bar. And the wait staff are always top notch.

Parking: Over priced. You’re paying for Decor. I did a round of simple drinks for 5 and it was $95 plus tip.

I hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner in the Terrace room and a Welcome reception on the rooftop for the wedding guests. The entire experience was great. James was so attentive. Cassie was the perfect server. She makes a great presentation of the menu before taking orders. She was so pleasant and efficient. Next was Logan. He was our go-to on the rooftop. I never had to ask him to do anything. He anticipated our needs, replenishing snacks and refilling our welcome bags without me even asking. Additionally, the maitre’d, bartenders, cocktail server (Shane), and bus people were so friendly and polite. Even got to meet the executive chef! I would definitely recommend holding your special event at Sage.
