I was in Sarasota for a Low Rider Dachshund Rescue event, at the Bazaar on Apricot, and had some time to kill and so glad that I did go to the Farmer’s market as it was great. I got a lot of delicious treats and because I’ll be driving back home today it was hard to get things that wouldn’t keep well in the Florida heat in my car. I would come back again for sure.

Sarasota Farmers Market was such a wonderful experience, and we’re really glad we got to visit it while in town with our close friends.
It’s apparently open year-round, which makes it even more impressive, and it had such a lively, welcoming feel. Our kids had a blast walking our friend’s dog through the market, which honestly added a whole extra layer of fun to the morning. We even picked up treats for the dog from a great pet vendor.
There were so many great food options throughout. The empanada truck was delicious, and we also tried pink pineapple for the first time at a fruit stand, which was a fun surprise. We may have also overindulged in some very expensive guacamole and chips from another vendor, but it was absolutely worth it—it was that good.
There are so many vendors that we barely scratched the surface. Next time, I’d definitely go on an empty stomach and plan to try much more. If we lived locally, this would easily become a weekly stop.

They actually sell fresh organic wheatgrass and other sprouts! You can't find these anywhere else of this quality anywhere in the Bradenton/Sarasota area

This is a lovely place to wander around on a Saturday morning. You can bring your dog with you. You may need to pick up smaller size dogs because it’s very crowded in areas. Come hungry -there’s always something good to eat.
