Selva Grill University Town Center

Beautiful presentation. Food was incredible. Notably the Caesar salad. I will definitely go back to get another salad before we depart Florida!

We had a large dinner party. Food and service were both exceptional. Appetizers were delicious. Main courses were. just as good. Would recommend for smaller groups as well as larger groups

First time dining at Selva. Atmosphere was tremendous, service was exceptional, and food was even better. This will certainly be the first of many times I plan on dining at Selva.

Food and service very nice I had a reservation I specifically asked for a quiet location The hostess tried to seat us at the table immediately adjacent to the kitchen not a quiet location We were moved to a corner booth in the bar which was very nice

We all enjoyed our entrees. The right size. Our server had good timing for our dinner too.

Selva always delivers! We love dining at the LWR Selva location because it is much nicer and more quiet. We had the Tuna Tiradito to start and we had the Ahi Tuna dinner which is a divine combination of flavors. I recently had the sea bass here and it was fabulous as well. You can count on delicious and beautiful food every time you eat at Selva and top notch service. Highly recommend!!!

Food was excellent but the service was poor. Had to flag down the server to order appetizers and then again to order our entrees. He brought dessert menus but never circled back to see if we would like dessert. Had to flag down a bus boy and ask for coffee but then the waiter brought the bill so we just told them to forget about the coffee and left. We have been to both locations many, many times and the service is always so much better at the downtown Sarasota location.

The staff is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is energetic and inviting. It is wonderful to have this is Sarasota. Food was absolutely delicious! Get the selva caesar salad!

Food and service is good. The music is really bad. I understand that they need the people eat fast and leave ASAP. So, the music is like you really are in the jungle and 100 monkeys play the drums. Our next table customers were complain about it, too. I’ll never come back. We went to celebrate our anniversary and the only thing that we want, was to get out of there.

Selva always delivers! This was a special occasion dinner, and everything lived up to our expectations and hopes. Frank was a wonderful server. He struck a perfect balance between being attentive to the table's needs and allowing us privacy to visit.

Silva had been a favorite. The food is amazing, interesting, always a unique and creative presentation. Service is also dependably professional and friendly, however my last visit was more than uncomfortable, it was nerve racking. The noise level is often louder than comfortable but the music!!! If you could call it music at all, was a constant annoying harsh bass beat Over and Over non stop never ending. A Loud overhead distracting beat. The ambience lacked any sense of comfort. We were actually considering leaving but we had already ordered and hoped it would stop. It didn’t. Eventually I asked for the remainder of dinner to be packed to go. A cheap plastic bag, like you get at a Chinese take away arrived with my rack of lamb. Wow, a styrofoam box in a white plastic bag : for a $$$$ restaurant? Sorry Silva, this will have been my last visit. Dining out is more than good food, especially at a high price. Chef T

Fantastic Peruvian restaurant in an elegant setting. Innovative dishes, stellar service, and beautiful bar and dining room (UTC location). Staff treats you like family. One if the too 10 restaurants in the Sarasota area!

Dining at Selva Grill UTC has always been a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The numerous dishes we've tried over the years have unfailingly been high quality and excellently prepared. Our waiter last evening, Juan, was most attentive without obtrusiveness; the service he provided was of the highest order. By way of recommendations, the Swordfish w/mild, coconut-based curry sauce is superb, as is our old standby, Lomo Saltado. The Caiparinha's are the best to be found in Sarasota. We always enjoy Selva's Caesar Salad, also the best served at any fine dining restaurant in the area. Selva provided a small bouquet of fragrant flowers for our Anniversary dinner as well as a hand-written, Caligraphy-style card and provided an amazing Tres Leches dessert. Highly recommend Selva Grill UTC for dinner, and for lunch as well! Thank you, Juan!
