Also tiny notepads made in the USA. Even dome super fancy SMEG electric kettles.

Thea was so amazing, kind and helpful about picking out a tea. She also made a tea to go and it was spectacular! She was eager to help out which is so appreciative and made the experience so enjoyable. Definitely will be coming back! ?

I purchased a couple of mugs with fine mesh strainers that are nice. I ordered an iced green tea. When I drink green tea, it has to be high quality or I get a headache and upset tummy. Unfortunately, their green tea is very low quality. I got a headache and upset tummy. I was so disappointed because I wanted to love this place.

Worst experience. I’ve been to the St. Pete location which was wonderful. This location in my experience had an employee who could care less. I was visiting from out of town and wanted a specific tea my husband likes to make the old fashioned cocktail. I didn’t know what tea it was so I asked the emp. at the counter. He was unsure so went to get someone else. The other emp. came out telling me the recipe is on the card that comes with the mocktail kit. I explained I had it but just more tea for that drink. She, with confidence, told me it was a particular tea so I bought 6oz., not cheap. I got another tea as well and she seemed annoyed the whole time. I then ordered a simple drink, no changes, and they asked me several questions multiple times, started making a different drink by mistake, I was now concerned. My drink didn’t even contain all ingredients and was disgusting! I couldn’t even drink it. I then travel all the way home and gift my husband the tea only to find out she told me the wrong one. When I read reviews like this I sometimes wonder if there was more to the story. In this case there is not. I was polite and had been waiting months to visit the store. I’m disappointed and angry.

I'm in HEAVEN! This smallish shop is ? dedicated to TEA! I ? tea! This shop in the UTC mall has everything from books on tea to tea pots and tea kettles, matcha tea shakers, tea ceremony sets, individual tea ceremony pieces, cold tea brewers, tea spoons (?), notebooks to keep track of your tea, and SO much more... Including actual tea drinks. SO MANY CHOICES OF TEA DRINKS (see photos).They have a whole wall of tea leaves that are always available, and then four copper tins that are limited edition tea options available by seasons or when available (see photo for what's available as I write this). I'm THRILLED with this shop and see that THIS will mean I will be visiting UTC more often. I can see myself coming here for exercise, mall walking is a thing, right? Then popping in here for a treat of tea when I pass the shop on my walk.I got a matcha latte and it was SO much better than the Starbucks I had planned on getting. Fresher tasting. It was a true matcha latte that took at least 5-7 minutes to make, like a true matcha drink should. ?I'll be back ?.

When Teavana went out of business, i was really upset because my husband and i are avid tea drinkers. And i was going to buy my tea online, but i was really really skeptical about that. Then we happen to find the Sarasota location, i was in heaven!!! This was 3 plus years ago...The employees are super nice. When we go in, they are super friendly and happy to be there. The knick-knacks and kettles and what not are a bit price, but this is a small business, so that's expected. But the tea! Oh man I can go on and on about it. First off, the costs is way cheaper than teavana ever was. I was explained by the staff that the owner doesn't have a middle man to pick the teas. She does it herself and that she works with farmers directly. Also when the pandemic hit, they didn't inflate their costs at all. Only last year, or late 2021 the owner had to raise the prices up just by a bit, which didn't even hurt the wallet. SO THANK YOU!!! My favorite tea is the black caramel tea. You smell it and its like biting into a caramel candy. I like to pair it hot or cold with my pumpkin spice creamer. the sugar they use is really good on price. Its a bit cheaper than what i found online. And it makes my tea taste sooo good. Don't use regular white sugar with their tea! Any ways we like going to either davis island or sarasota location. its clean and cute and people are super nice. I tell the folks that work there that i love the locations and to keep trucking. I love this shop and if I can give you guys 6 stars i would.

Shoutout to the girls working there today! Awesome One Piece halloween outfits. They were super friendly and helped me get started with a bunch of teas.

Insanely bad customer service by the manager herself. Really was interested in some of the teas, but by the time they let me even smell them. She was being so rude. I left the store without buying.

Spoke to 2 wonderful people who were very nice and educated on the teas, they let us smell a bunch and were very nice! Will come back if ever at UTC again

I drive to UTC just to visit! The best quality and flavorful teas. Don’t expect them to cost the same as a grocery store. Loose leaf teas are MUCH higher quality and cost more. Some of their teas are very rare. I have developed a tea hobby and like to try all the flavors they offer. The employees are very knowledgeable and make excellent suggestions. I highly recommend the jasmine pearls, kiwi cherry coconut, ruby red grapefruit, and sucre. They have a monthly subscription I have just signed up for.Again, some of the teas are more expensive than others, but you are paying for quality and how rare the teas may be. The employees will happily explain.
