Yesterday I Googled a butcher, looked at The Butcher's Block, really liked what I saw, but thought it was another location in Bradenton but happily it was mistake to find this one in Sarasota and I had a wonderful experience there today! Love Butcher's Block - have been coming here for over 20 years. They roast their own ham, turkey and roast beef for luncheon meat, so you are buying meat with no preservatives. Also, my husband loves their egg salad - I drop in for egg salad and leave with $60 of groceries. Scott and staff very friendly and helpful with selections.
The Butcher’s Block is a treasure in Sarasota. Everything in this store is the best of the best. Their staff is incredibly nice and helpful and will spend as much time with you as you need with not a hint of impatience. From prime grade beef to A5 wagyu and exotic meats, this place has it all. Get out and support this small business and keep them going strong for generations.
